Galleria Civica d'Arte Moderna e Contemporanea
Galleria Civica d'Arte Moderna e Contemporanea is a civic gallery of modern and contemporary arts. It has had an ever-growing collection of masterpieces since its inception. There are sculptures, paintings, photographs, films, videos, and more, adding up to 47,000 unique invaluable pieces at the museum.
To provide visitors with a fresh perspective on the collections and allow them to analyze the Gallery's masterworks, the pieces from the collections are displayed in thematic groupings that vary over time. The greatest historical international avant-gardes are Max Ernst, Paul Klee, and Picabia. These works are by both the leading Italian nineteenth-century artists, such as Fontanesi, Fattori, Pellizza da Volpedo, and Medardo Rosso, and the twentieth-century masters, such as Morandi, Casorati, Martini, and De Pisis.
Aside from classic works by artists like Paolini, Boetti, Anselmo, Zorio, Penone, and Pistoletto, Galleria Civica d'Arte Moderna e Contemporanea also dedicates a significant amount of exhibition space to contemporary art.
Albertina Gallery
Since it first opened to the public in 1996, the Pinacoteca has become the preferred destination for most aficionados of Italian art. At The Pinacoteca Albertina Gallery, go on a trip through the beauty and splendor of a rare collection. From Filippo Lippi to the Caravaggesque to the masters of the Royal Academy of Turin, traveling through the occasions that resulted in the development of the distinguished collection. From the Renaissance to the seventeenth century.
It houses collections donated by the Archbishop of Casale Monferrato, Mossi di Morano, Charles Albert, and others from the 17th and 18th centuries. Its original purpose was to serve as a training facility for the academy's pupils. Roll by the Mossi di Morano collection, which includes Piemontese, Venetian, and Flemish artwork. Among the notable pieces are Saint Ambrose and Saint Gregory and Doctors of the Church, The Lamentation of Christ and Deposition in the Sepulchre by Maarten van Heemskerck, After the Battle by Cornelis de Wael, and Mountainous Landscape with Coastal Inlets by Giuseppe Pietro Bagetti.
