The Ramayana Unfolds Amidst Fire & Chants

This dance is a dramatic retelling of the epic Ramayana, with Hanuman, the monkey King, helping Rama rescue Sita from the evil Ravana. The dancers wear traditional costumes and move to rhythmic chants, swaying around the fire. The view of the sacred temple of Pura Dalem Gede Kutuh Kaja adds a mystical edge to the whole experience.
