Feel the warm Mediterranean breeze as you start your hike. See old and abandoned sheepfolds and some fascinating natural sculptures, including the Su Tasaru arch. Continue and reach the first juniper passageway, and marvel at a breathtaking rock arch inside the mountain with a small wooden door. With the help of ladders, you will walk downward. After a while, enter a holly oak forest and continue weaving between the trees, following the old coalmen's road until you catch sight of the blue sea.
Eventually, you will reach Cala Mariolu beach, made up of white, tiny pebbles that look like snowflakes. Take a moment to admire this enchanting sight, surrounded by the wild, rocky coast of Ogliastra. Swim in the clear water, jump off the rocky cliffs, and explore the nearby caves. Get ready for your journey back by the same route. The trek back is even more challenging, as the trail is steep and rocky. The experience will be intense and exhilarating, but the beauty of the beach and the rugged coastline will stay with you forever.
