The possibility of using public transportation is absolutely great!!! Transferring the tickets from heatout to the Vienna Card app is complicated without end!!! Who came up with this? You have to request and enter a long code several times. Then discounts can be requested in the Vienna Card app, but sometimes only as a combination. Maybe I didn't understand it either! What a pity!

The City Card was helpful. However, I would never order via Head out again. I was only given the code when I asked for it on the phone. For my husband, the transfer to the ivie app didn't work at all. Money wasted!

The Vienna City Card was the best choice for our needs as we were able to use the transport everyday for our trips to concerts and sights. It was also useful for some dining places however it isn't really clear on the app which places will take the Vienna City card as all options are listed even if they do not have an association with the card. Overall still a good investment for our 5 days in Vienna.

We thought the card was great. However, I find activation via Gutscheezc rather difficult. At the beginning we only used the QR codes 😬

The lines we used had short timetables, even in the evening. We traveled by subway, suburban train and streetcar (Bim, as they say in Vienna).

We used the 72-hour Vienna City Card for the whole family (children 12+15 free!) and it all worked wonderfully!

It was a bit complicated to install the public transport card. Actually, I should have booked directly via Wiener Verkehrsbetriebe, on whose system I was finally able to upload the 72 ticket.
I liked being able to take the Standard out of my pocket at the lamppost in exchange for a payment to the cashier of my choice. I liked the attitude expressed in the interview by the mayor of Vienna about the imminent takeover by the Kickl FPÖ. Vienna, in fact the whole of Austria, must retain its cosmopolitan social climate and freedom of discourse. A radical right-wing government that betrays the idea of European cooperation and integration endangers the well-being of Vienna and Austria and is not worthy of this country. May Vienna maintain its magic.

Before installing the application and using it, I found all the information I needed and very clear. The application is very easy to use and intuitive. It is an extremely useful product for tourists.
