West Side Story on Sydney Harbour

Had a fantastic outdoor experience not even the rain bothered us.The view was amazing and seating was spot on.Only bad experience was when we arrived to botanical gardens the gates were shut so this was stressful as we randomly found a cab which drove us to the venue.

The show was great. Thank the actors and actresses. The place was really nice with the background of the opera house and the harbor bridge. Headout was quick and easy. However it would be better for me to select the seats instead of just selecting the section.

Show was excellent, view was lovely. Venue being outside , the weather was great but as an interstate visitor. Too far to walk, as transport options were not explained as part of the booking process. Still loved it and will come to the next one.

The buying of the ticket was easy i was surprised how good my seat was the view was fantastic and the show was superb on a balmy sydney night

The process of booking was easy and straightforward Loved the whole production. Backdrop was spectacular . Performance was very professional. Overall glad we went.

The buying of tickets over internet stresses me out each time -I couldn't download Headout app to find my seat number so I believed I was scammed ( I'm old ) Westside story the mist once in a lifetime experience watching dedicated performers give it their all in torrential rain . They had the Jets and Sharks but the audience won as " drowned rats " It was ncredible

The performance was really great and we enjoyed it. However, getting to the venue was problematic. Nothing was said about the gates to the park being closed as we thought we'd walk from Circular Quay. This proved very problematic as all gates to park were closed and we had to uber there and we only just made it. Nothing was said on the ticketing about the fact you could not walk through the park to get to Fleet Steps.

The evening was perfect. Well organised and tickets waiting at the ticket office. The seats were excellent with good views.

Ticketing was good, venue great, weather perfect, getting to & from not so good - we were not aware that walking from the Opera House would be closed - needs to be made clearer in future.

The show was absolutely stunning- Westside Story at Sydney Harbour. Clear instructions with the ticket on the app helped a lot

Great follow-up to original booking keeping us informed. Well signposted at venue and great facilities for before hand drinks, food etc. Venue was excellent with a beautiful background for interstates to admire.

It was confusing to get to the venue Not clear signage at Boranic Fardens $15 per person the water taxi was expensive for a 2 minutes ride The seats were too far from the stage Did not feel included as actors toiled to the middle of audience It was unfortunate timing as my experience was the day after the Bondi stabbing / it was good to be mentioned at the beginning- I thought a 1 minute silence should have respect to the victims and their families suffering.

It was a great show done really well. I'm looking forward to seeing Westside story again and seeing another show at the venue.

The show was fantastic! Initially picking up ny tickets was a breeze. However, when we went to go in, my barcode had already been scanned and we had to return to the box office. Apparently my ticket was used to test a scanner and was not reset. They reprinted our tickets after "resetting" them, needless to say, mine still didn't work... We went to the same usher, explained what we were told and he let us pass...

Everything was organised the shuttle bus to the venue my tickets where available and the the entrance & stage looked Amazing the performance was top class we had a wiondeeful night & will be back next year

Great performance overall - orchestra, sets, performers, support staff and ground staff. Great location on the Harbourside Good food and beverage set up - good range and queues that kept moving Good post performance shuttle bus arrangement. I wasn't expecting that. Was my first time at this site and will definitely be coming back next year. Well done.

We loved the show so much. I also wanted to thank the man in first aid. He was exceptional. My friend got very sick and needed help. The whole team was incredible. She is fine now.

No fireworks which we were looking forward to. Also, the venue should warn attendees that the walk through the gardens would be closed at night. The water taxi was helpful but a significant and unexpected expense. Felt like a tourist trap as walking the long way (vs the direct route as the directions link from the venue through the garden indicated) would make us late.

This was a first rate performance of a classic in the musical theatre canon, with excellent singing, dancing, and a setting that was just spectacular. The background of nighttime Sydney added to the atmosphere.

Never have we been to something so amazing as an outdoor opera event; highly recommend this to anyone local or visiting.
