Guided Tour of the King's Private Apartments with Palace of Versailles Skip-the-Line Tickets

I was surprised to learn our your guide was a PhD in history with vast knowledge in any questions that were raised. She seemed eager to tell stories and really made the experience far more meaningful than walking through the palace alone.

The tour was very nice and we got to see the top floors of the king's apartment . The guide was very friendly and the whole castle is still very preserved . It was extremely fun & I definitely recommend going there and getting the guide . + You get to skip the lines . <°{}°>

The information provided by the tour guide was interesting and special, and I had never seen the rooms before.

I enjoyed seeing the back side of the Palace of Versailles. The guide spoke slowly and in easy-to-understand English, so even a Japanese with an intermediate level of English could understand. It was difficult to find the meeting place, and it would have been easier to understand if there was a picture of the entrance of the building. The meeting place is on the first floor of the building.

Visiting the private rooms is a great experience, I had tried on other occasions and had not found availability, highly recommended.

Small group, super organized! No crowds! Much cheaper than the guided tour of the castle! Other rooms, such as the palace opera, are also shown. Highly recommended in combination with your "own" tour of the palace!

The palace was amazing and having a guide show us around was worth the extra money. Seeing a few more areas which we wouldn't usually see and getting the information was really worthwhile. The grounds were beautiful and well worth exploring.

Without thinking much, I scoured the internet and found a guided tour of the Palace of Versailles and booked it. I was so happy to have booked it that I didn't even read the disclaimer before closing the site, so I went to the site without knowing where to gather to be escorted. I arrived at the palace close to the entrance time, so I hurried to get my backpack checked and headed to where there was a long queue of people. At that moment, a call from France pinged on my phone and I answered it immediately. The guide was calling me because I didn't show up at the meeting point. From then on, I was relieved because I realized that I was in good hands. I was able to go straight into the palace without having to wait in line because everything had been arranged with the palace authorities in advance. The guide, although in English, was very good at explaining things and gave me an overview of the Palace of Versailles.

Fantastic guide very knowledgeable about the history and the interior of each room. I highly recommend seeing the palace with this private tour.

The guide assisting us to get inside and the one showing us the private apartment of the king were really professional and helpful.

The place is very nice, worth visiting. Unfortunately, the guide turned out to be unpleasant, at the very beginning she unsadabie referred to us with strange pretensions that we spoke with each other in our native language, and threatened that she would be very angry if we were not polite. Very strange behavior from her.

Having the guided tour was just excellent, no waiting around for ages. The tour guide was really good and provided the information in an engaging way. The small group also made the tour more personal.

Well organised and very knowledgeable guide. Having the ear piece was fabulous as we didn't miss a thing. What a stunning building the palace is.

Everything was very well organized including the booking process and directions. Our guide led us through the royal private chambers with nice anecdotes and very competently. The group size of max. 25 was ideal. We would book this type of tour at any time and not just for Versailles. This tour is also particularly suitable for children. Our two were 10 years old and loved it! Thanks to the whole Headout team and keep up the good work!

The experience was very nice, everything was handled in an orderly and professional manner, and I especially wanted to thank the French lady who was our guide, a very nice and helpful person whose name I unfortunately cannot remember. In any case, it is an experience that I recommend!
