From Krakow: Auschwitz-Birkenau Guided Tour with Transfers

We thought until the last that the tickets were a FRAUD, REALLY, everything went WELL and we paid 10€ for a tour that other sites were offering at much higher prices! They changed the time for us the day before, delaying it by 1 hour (meeting at 9:50), the meeting place was respected, no queue (except at the controls, as for everyone), great guide. RECOMMENDED

Very interesting, but the translator was missing, and the Birkenau section was too long compared with Auschwitz 1, missing 30m of the tour.

Well organised with good communication before the trip and straightforward arrangements for the day. Our guide was knowledgeable and held the intrest of our party throughout. I would recommend for anyone wishing to visit such an important place.

Although the last-minute postponement of the start time was a problem, as we had to catch the plane in the evening, we were able to really enjoy the trip thanks to the very friendly and hard-working driver, who knew about our time management problem and then took us straight to the airport. The guide was very knowledgeable and managed to convey a lot of information and emotions in a very pleasant way. An impressive experience!

Great informative tour by the tour guide. It was rushed which was disappointing as I would have liked more time to walk around. There was no fast track as you still have to queue for the tour. The lunch was well worth the money and Pawel our driver was so helpful and lovely to deal with.

Listening to the well informed guide explaining sensitively about what happened in the war was harrowing but necessary to understand the horror.

Hello, friendly bus driver The guide explained very well but the timing was very tight just to eat. And I would have liked to visit the women's camp at birkenau which was not the case, only the men's side was visited. Otherwise very good

The bus service (the driver, his punctuality, his driving, his explanations, the clean and adapted bus). The guide, who got to the heart of the matter without losing us in details, adapted to the place, answered questions and was pleasant. Suggested bag lunch (which we didn't take).

Everything went smoothly. Of course the late change in schedule was unexpected, but I assume it was for a good reason. The transfers went off without a hitch, and the French-speaking guide was perfect and competent. Well done for the good organization.

The whole day was very well organised The driver was great The tour was great We give the tour organiser, Headout, 5 out of 5, but the huge volume of people every day means the entry/exit at every location is planned to the minute. This results in a rushed feel with no time to sit back and soak in the feel of the site This is a minor issue, and we thoroughly recommend the tour

The tour of the auschwitz camp was very good, but relatively quick to complete.the guide could at least tell us what all the buildings were so that we could immerse ourselves properly.then for the second camp, birkenau, we only visited the left side of the camp with the brick buildings. Then for the second camp, birkenau, we only visited the left side of the camp with the brick buildings.the right side with the wooden buildings we didn't set foot in.our guide walked 20 meters in front of us with another Polish guide and she talked more with herself than with us.otherwise the sites are magnificent.

Experiment to be made. However, the appointment was made at 9am, I was written to the day before saying that it was postponed to 5am... We had booked breakfast though....

Despite booking at short notice, everything went really well. The day was perfectly timed and planned from start to finish. At no time did we feel like we were in bad hands. The guide, Marta, who led us through the museum, was particularly special. She was incredibly welcoming and you could tell that she puts her heart and soul into her work. Highly recommended! The price-performance ratio was great!

It was well planned. We stuck to the schedule and it didn't feel either stressful or like we were wasting time. Our guide was amazing as well. We also had the lunch box, nothing extraordinary but definitely OK for the price, would recommend buying it. It's nice not having to think about that when arriving. Only thing that disappointed me a little was that we were moved up from 9.30 to 12.30. We were excited to explore different pubs and restaurants in Krakow so that didn't leave to much time to do that in the evening. But I would still really recommend this tour! Reading reviews of other tours it seems that it happens with them as well.
