From Krakow: Auschwitz-Birkenau Guided Tour with Transfers

We thought until the last that the tickets were a FRAUD, REALLY, everything went WELL and we paid 10€ for a tour that other sites were offering at much higher prices! They changed the time for us the day before, delaying it by 1 hour (meeting at 9:50), the meeting place was respected, no queue (except at the controls, as for everyone), great guide. RECOMMENDED

It was a moment of introspection and awareness raising. We think we know everything that happened there, but only by visiting it do we realize that what we know is only a small part of what really happened. At least once in one's life one has a moral duty to visit a concentration camp to see the evil with one's own eyes and not to forget.

Punctual and very correct Spanish language. More history and more details would be missing. There was a lot of time on the bus when we could have taken advantage of it and told more things.

A visit to remember and never forget. A French-speaking guide made the visit very interesting. I highly recommend this tour.

Miroslav was a very professional guide who touched me deeply with his heartfelt tour guidance. He gave all of himself to show us, explain to us, the horrendous past. I don't know how he does it day to day, it must take a huge toll on his health. I want to say to him his sacrifice is not unseened nor went unnoticed. Please take care, it was my privilege to have crossed paths with such a lovely gentleman. Norbert, our tour guide to Auschwitz, was also a lovely chap. His gentle ways were a pleasure to be in company to. I wish him well in his college studies and future endeavours.

Fast transfer and very competent French guides... However, waking up was difficult, as the departure time booked and initially scheduled for 7:10 a.m. was brought forward by 1 hour the day before, without any explanation?

Everything was perfect and on time. The guide in Auschwitz and Birkenau was also up to par for this particular experience. We returned to Krakow at 3:30 p.m.

The Auschwitz tour guide was very knowledgeable and gave us very important information. The company only sent us an e-mail, but we would have expected them to provide more detailed information via a platform such as WhatsApp a day in advance. The minibus and travel were very comfortable.

A successful day with a guide who spoke perfect French. The tour is at a walking pace, not recommended for people with walking difficulties.

Very, very interesting visit, full of history. Good organization between the guide and the two camps. A memorial well worth the detour!

They sent us an email the day before to bring forward the pick up time to 6:00 am (we had 8:30 am) and we lost the breakfast we had already paid for at the hotel. The price of breakfast was 19€ per person, and there were 3 of us, so we lost 37€. When we complained, the guide told us that he did not set the schedules, that the organizers did it according to the museum hours. From what I have read, almost everyone is given an earlier start time, but they should warn you about that when you book. We would not have booked the breakfast buffet, and lost our money. Plus we went on the tour on an empty stomach. The tour was very good, although the guide in the field was very fast and did not allow us to stop or separate from the group. It is a place where everyone should go at least once, to learn about the history so that it never happens again.

Today we were fortunate to experience a tour to Auschwitz -Birkenau with Headout. Valery, the tour guide on the bus was fabulous. She was organised and explained everything that we ended to know and do. Our tour guide, Lucas, was truly amazing with his knowledge and narrating of the story of both camps. He was passionate in his telling of the history and we found it a pleasure and honour to have been able to spend this time with him. Well done Headout.

I was looking forward to this visit and the truth is that it does not disappoint, pure history, our guide Yacoda instructed us perfectly. An experience that must be done to avoid repeating mistakes.

A magnificent experience, considering what Auschwitz is, a center of terror and serial death. Magnificent explanations by Tomás, without skimping on details and stories as hard as they are. As it should be to remember what happened and try not to repeat history. As for the pick up and drop off, everything was perfect. Punctual and very comfortable vehicle.

We were picked up at 8 am very punctual. The guide was fantastic, too bad I don't remember his name. Very professional, attentive and very knowledgeable about the history of the camp. The time passed very quickly. The tour between the two camps lasted just over 4 hours but it was not heavy. I recommend taking lunch with you, we did it that way and it worked out well, because we only had 20 minutes to eat before returning to Krakow. A very emotional experience, which makes you reflect a lot. At certain moments of the tour your heart shrinks from seeing and knowing the barbarities that were committed there.

The day before, with less than 24 hours in advance they delayed the pick up to 8.50 instead of 7 as scheduled. They notified us by WhatsApp and sms but not by mail which was how they had done all previous communications so we did not see it, and although they urged us to acknowledge receipt and we had not given it, they did not call to make sure we had received it. Except for this fact, we have to emphasize that we ended up very happy because the tour was very complete, the guide, Agatha, was excellent, providing a lot of relevant information and transmitting it with great sensitivity as the visit requires.

It was an incredible day, and when I arrived I was a little worried that it would be a funfair, with all the buses, the crowds and the bazaar for tickets at the entrance... But our French-speaking guide Dorotha managed to keep the whole group captivated throughout the visit.She alternated between historical facts, anecdotes that softened the horror of the place, moments of meditation, parallels with current events...in short, we didn't come away unscathed, but enriched by a mission to pass on history. Bravo to this guide, so interesting, cultured and attentive to all.

The ticketing experience was good, the company get in touch with me via whatsapp with some extra details, everything was smooth. The guide Jacek who coordinated the trip on the field was a great host and even better guide, his naration placed the experience to an another level. I can recommend it to anyone.

Very good visit, very necessary so that we cannot relive what happened there. The schedules were changed, as well as the meeting point, although it did not affect our plans. The assistance of the guide Olivia gave us a very complete picture about everything that happened in the concentration and extermination camps. It is not a pretty experience, it is hard, but very enlightening.
