From Krakow: Wieliczka Salt Mine Guided Tour with Skip-the-Line Tickets

Other than the lovely saltmines and the optional museum. Our roundtrip transfer driver was kind and supportive with a hint of humor. The only part when I was concerned was the salt mine had strict backpack demensions. (IMPORTANT NOTE: This was a restriction imposed by the mine, not the tour operator!) I'm glad to say at the moment of this writing; backpacks (aproximately a school backpack) are allowed into the mine. I assume they are trying to avoid hiking sized backpacks into the cave for safety reasons and to make the experience more comfortable for other guests. Before attending, Please reconfirm that the backpack restrictions haven't changed! I strongly recommend this tour. It is an absolute must!

The transfer service was excellent, the driver was very friendly. The guide was attentive at all times and gave clear and precise explanations.

It was fine. Met my expectations but did not exceed them. A lot of walking that I was not aware of and long wait time . . Glad I went

The mines are very worthwhile! The timetables were met, the bus was comfortable and the experience was well worth the money!

The tour was well organised, and informative. The mines themselves are breathtaking. We did get a message saying wrap up warm however it was very warm down there. The layers weren't needed, just a pain having to carrying coats etc

driver was friendly took us to our destination and back where we wanted. the guide Patricia (I think) told it very nice sometimes with a nice joke in between. She told it very interestingly.

This was an incredible tour, to see What was created down below And of salt was really Remarkable! I would highly recommend this tour!

Everything was very good. The guide's name was Adam and he was very nice and the transportation service, although it was a van and not a bus, was fine. There was no problem, and everything was as indicated in the itinerary. I would repeat with them, no doubt.

Our driver Janek was absolutely fantastic -wish he could have stayed with us in the Salt mines too! He was friendly, pleasant and so informative -mafe our trip.

Very well organized. Only negative point: the meeting point indicated on the application is not the right one, fortunately we had left before because if not we would miss the visit. The tour operator was responsive enough to give us this information. The transfers with the driver went well: pleasant driver, careful driving, gave clear explanations about the organization. The tour took place with a French-speaking guide, who gave us full explanations and told us all about the anectodes with a great deal of humor. The mine is splendid, full of beauty. 5/5

The actual tour was fantastic and our guide was wonderful. The drivers were very unfriendly and didnt even say hello. Only one spoke to lead us to get our tickets and pass us over to the guide. The other one didn't speak at all.

Punctuality and kindness. A small drawback was that the end of the tour and the return to Krakow did not allow us to visit the Museum after the visit to the Mine. A little too short

Friendly and punctual driver-guide, lots of interesting discussions on the way to the mines. A surprising and highly instructive visit.

Very nice driver, explained everything in detail and well, drove us there and back very well and asked several times about our wishes. Very satisfied and happy to return.

We were blown away by bthe shear scale of the workings and the spaces created underground. Also marvelled at the engineering. Astonishing to think this was all done with hand tools until the 20th century.

The guide Kryztof was very nice and he explained all the interesting facts about life in the mine. We will definitely recommend this visit to everyone. It was amazing to see how deep was the mine and the chambers over there.

Our guide was very informative and amusing. Paid attention to the needs of the group and allowed time to observe and appreciate the mine experience.

The Salt Mines are amazing. The detail in the figures and exhibits is outstanding. Our guide was very good and extremely clear in her explanations. It was certainly worth visiting. The one negative was that our booking included pick up and drop off from our hotel. We were picked up on time but the operator told us that they do not offer drop off service and this was an error by the company we bought the tour from. So we were dropped some distance from our hotel. This was disappointing.
