Florence Cathedral Guided Tour with Optional Dome & Bell Tower Climb

Outstanding guide , really very knowledgeable . Although in a fairly short time and not being my first visit to Florence , he was able to provide me with a lot of information , that I was absolutely unfamiliar with , and I would add in a way that was also not boring and absolutely non-trivial . Excellent experience .

Our tour guide gave us wonderful information about the structure, the history and along the way we took breaks to take in different art work and structural work. The views from on top were amazing! The steps can be narrow and uneven but take your time it's worth the view. Plus the ticket gets you to the other events in the area, well worth it.

Duomo was nice but the guide kept sayiing when someone asked a question to not ask questions as we wwere pressed for time (because he was late). Kind of rund since it was a GUIDED tour. The walkway around the cathedral was covered in plexiglass and was dirty. Not the best setup by the staff.

Meeting place was easy to find and our guide was very knowledgeable and helpful. Andrea had a good command of English. Having additional access to the museum and baptistry was a bonus.

The tour guide was super nice, super informed and super flexible. When booking the ticket it was mentioned that a dome climb was included (albeit without a guide), after booking it turned out that no dome climb was included. When we tried to change the booking or complain, the chat was delayed so that we always had to start again. We only got a solution on the spot, not with headout, but directly with the provider at the meeting point. They were able to rebook the ticket without any problems, even though it was no longer possible to climb the dome.

The dome climb was excellent but we were disappointed that it didn't allow us direct access to the main cathedral afterwards and we had to queue again for this. I'm not sure how we managed to jump any queues as advertised...

There was a long cue for entering Florence Duomo, Bell Tower and so on, so it was good for us to avoid waiting for a long hours. The guide had a lot of knowledge for the history and her story was interesting.

Was the highlight of our trip to Florence. The views were spectacular and our guide was very informational. Would recommend this tour to anyone.

Our tour guide was amazing!! She was energetic, knowledgeable and spoke clearly so it was easy to understand her (this is not always the case). We learned so much and enjoyed our time immensley.

Our guide, Natalia was very knowledgeable and gracious and professional as she was able to get us close to the attractions without being pushy. Also, we could not find the meeting point and the agency called me! They graciously directed my husband and I until we found the person who helped us find the group. Outstanding service!!! We would book again in a heartbeat.

Meeting point easy to find. Punctual start. Our guide Emanuela was very friendly. Explained everything very well and in detail and gave us helpful information. Highly recommended.

The communication was excellent, where to meet at what time. The group size was comfortable, very little fuss in line. Excellent historical information and safety on climb.

The experience itself was fine. Just incomplete and unclear. When I made the reservation, it was mentioned that I could have the ascent to the dome and the bell tower as an option. I ticked off everything I could, as these two ascents were very symbolic for me. To my great surprise, I only received the €20 ticket for the Campanile, which I only discovered when I got to the Duomo. Despite all my attempts to change my ticket, nothing was possible. What's more, the guided tour started very late (although admittedly very crowded) and we only had about twenty minutes of explanation in the cathedral. Not the baptistery, not the campanile, and not the museum. So to pay 59 euros for just a few minutes' visit to the cathedral alone, instead of the three sites promised, is a real shame. Especially as if I'd bought the Brunelleschi pass for 30 euros, I'd have had just as much, if not more. If I include the guided tour, I'm looking at a €29 overpayment. That's almost half. And as pleasant as it was, it only merits a correct, average, mezzo mezzo.

Our Guide, Julia was awesome! She gave us a very lively picture of the way people were living before and during the Renaissance.

Our reservation clearly included the guided tour, but the girl who attended us did not bother to check our reservation and only gave us the pass to enter without a guide. We had to insist that she check it well and include us in the guided tour group. Apart from that inconvenience, we had an extraordinary guide, it was a great experience.

Times entry. All inclusive ticket goos for 3 days Guide was either : 1- not very knowledgeable; or 2- not proficient enough in his english to communicate his knowledge.

I enjoyed the great professionalism and friendliness of my very knowledgeable guide Giulia Pogni. It was like taking a journey through the history not only of the Duomo but of Florence! Giulia highly recommended because through her narration she made the time spent together extremely pleasant and interesting
