1 or 2-Hour Go-Kart Experience: Akiba Kart

The 1.5 hour night tour of Osaka was amazing. Albeit, it was cold but husband and I wanted to do it for the "Mario Kart" experience. The briefing video was informative and Haru, our guide, made sure we understood and followed the instructions on the road. I love how we had a bit of a test run in the non busy area of Osaka so that we're ready and could drive in the streets of Osaka alongside actual cars. It was a little hard to hear Haru because of the motors but we got the gist of all the areas we went to. And Haru took good photos of us, working extra hard to get our shots. Also, I'm glad that they provide the outfits in case you don't bring your own. This experience was more expensive than other tours we saw that were already sold out but it was worth it.

It was really fun- something we had all been really looking forward to all trip, great guide as well he was so much fun.

Our guide was amazing! Good explanation about the use of gokarts, funny and even had time while waiting at red lights to explain our surroundings! Highly recommended!!!

Everything was great! We loved it! It was so fun to drive around osake in funny costums and the guide was great and took some great pictures of us when it was red light. Very easy to drive the gocart. We hadn't drive anything in Japan before and this was no scary for us, only fun! 🤩🤗😊

Come by half an hour early to choose costume, it was easy to locate as well, some kids felt i was a real life minion and waved to me happily and public will take pictures, it is a great experience to try if you come by japan, I recommend if you have international driving license as required, although another person had caused trouble and we waited on the roadside while tourguide was looking for him, we lost a few minutes of the tour, so if we do try again we feel like we might try for a longer duration one, but it was all good since we took lots of pictures and selfies while waiting. Enjoyed the view while driving around as well, thank you all staff all friendly and accommodating 🥰
