Moorish Castle Entry Tickets with Optional Digital Audio Guide

Great experience! This self guided tour was wonderful! The hiking to the castle of the moors was absolutely brilliant! If you love history, this tour will take you back in time, and at the same time will bring you back to the present in a liminal moment when you look down to present Sintra!

Beautiful place, we did not wait in line. We walked up and down. The view from the castle is incredible. You can walk around quietly, without schedules.

The audiobook link for Pena Palace did not work. Attempted several times, but did not get an audiobook for the Palace. The audiobook for Moorish Castle did work.

Beautiful site. Parking instructions were very unclear and confusing. Peña Palace Park attractions had poor signage, maps were misleading/hard to understand (suggested there was transportation from one end to the other but bus was not in operation) and the difficulty of walk/hills to get around was not communicated.

The instructional directions often times were difficult to follow and didn't take one to the correct spot. Once there the info about the spot was interesting

The Pena Palace is beautiful both inside and outside. I would recommend a guide. The only thing that ruins the experience a little bit is the too many tourists. We visited in October and expected to be less crowded. I would definitely recommend a walk in the park, especially the green road up to the cross. The view from there is breathtaking.

We went to Portugal and Spain for two weeks and Sintra was my favorite guided tour day. Quinta da Regaliera was the most intesting and we loved the history and all the outdoors and walking through the wells/ tunnels. It was a favorite for my husband especially because it was like being in an Indiana Jones movie going through the Knights Templar/ Order of Christ training mission.

Ticketing was simple and I just flashed the barcode and they let me in. I thought the grounds were beautiful and I would recommend to a friend any time.

It seems to be a common issue thataufioguide for Peña palace is not provided I gave the support team the information with screenshot so that they could fix it but got no reply If you do t provide the audioguide then don't charge for it and say so Essentially the way one is pushed through the palace it is probably not needed or useful but advertising that it is included and not providing it is unprofessional

Moorish castle was fascinating. The Pena Palace was like hearding animals without much education. We wouldn't recommend it.

Both venues were fabulous. It was very cloudy at the top of Moorish castle so unfortunately no views but the atmosphere was great very mystical. The afternoon spent at Quinta la Regaleira was fabulous I followed the audio tour getting lost in parts but overall was good to follow and have the information and directions for each point. All the little off the beaten path routes were fabulous and at each turn you saw something new. The mix of gardens and structure and water were wonderful. There is no wifi at the venues so need to download the tickets and audio tour in advance. All was very straightforward.

The moorish castle was phenomenal! Absolutely loved it! Pena Palace was ridiculously busy and not pleasant at all! Would not recommend!

Public transport is outstanding in the Lisbon and Sintra area. We set off on foot to the palace. To appreciate it all, you have to spend almost 4 hours visiting the Regaleira Palace. Magificent and interesting, the audio guide is very good. On the other hand, local transport costs 10 euros to reach the Moorish castle. You need exceptional legs to attempt to reach the castle. The castle is another beautiful site.

I was extremely skeptical when I purchased these tickets as I thought I purchased them directly from Quinta de Regaleira. However, our experience was amazing! There were a few steps to do before heading out on our adventure to Quinta de Regaleira for example downloading our audio tour. It was all straight forward and simple to do with the instructions given. However this is no fault of Headout but the directions for the audio tour was a little confusing to follow and we eventually just followed the signs posted at the Quinta de Regaleira. Overall a great experience!

Despite the audioguide, it's not easy to get around the site. Two magnificent places, but very far apart. Suggestions for transport between the two would be most welcome. I'll definitely suggest it to others.

Booking the tickets was very easy using the app compared to other sites. Also the ability to use the tickets offline using the app was incredibly easy, intuitive, and convenient.

A very pretty, well-preserved castle, with an advance ticket to avoid the short queue at the entrance (very short, nonetheless). The castle walls are very well preserved, and you can climb to the very top of the various walls. It offers spectacular views of Sintra and other palaces. Negative point: however, there's no "audioguide"? We asked the ticket inspector and he told us there was no audioguide here! There's not enough information about the castle when you visit it on site.

It is an impressive wall, but it requires an physical effort to see all of it. It reminds me the wall from the Game of the thrones. Nice forest as well

Very beautiful castle and magnificent from the top, but the shuttle bus sold with the tickets is useless. Once you arrive at the Pena garden, it takes about 10 minutes to get from the garden to the Palace, but it's an extra charge of about €8 per ticket...
