We had a great day around the Hagia Sofia and the Hippodrome. The tickets for the Hagia Sofia worked as advertised and made the experience smoother and much more pleasant. Recommended!

It was a perfect experience, in the end we wanted to access the lowest praying floor but security was saying only during prayer hours, after asking multiple times, after almost 2 hours again we asked what if we have ticket, then he said you can even go now, no need to wait till prayer time.

Guide was easy to find and delivered what was advertised - an informative tour of both the Blue Mosque and the Hagia Sofia. Got to go inside and learn a little of the history and culture of the mosques. Guide was a little hard to hear at times and wait time at Hagia Sofia security line was long and hot. But still a very worthwhile tour!

A great experience (second visit in 10 years) due to Yakupha who was well informed about historical details and looked really passionate with his job. Thank you again and again!

The organization (meeting point and information) was very good. Negative: In the mosque itself, the tour guides can only provide little information. So it is not explained "on site" in the mosque, but you hear a 30-minute lecture at the first meeting point of the tour in front of the mosque. We had not expected this.

The amazing paintings and architecture in the mosque. Peaceful place to be. Our tour guide Aron Ali was very knowledgeable and patient, explaining everything. Mechelle Australia 🇦🇺

It was good tour. Guide was a very good man. Don't remember his name. He was thin, short, had moustache. He had a little dark skin and short hair.

Enjoyed being with the informed guide. We had some problems with a couple of our group not flowing well through the exhibits. Nothing wrong with the way the guides handled everything that came up.

I booked a tour for both the blue mosque and Hagia Sophia, but was only given a guided tour for the blue mosque. Because of the confusion I was able to eventually get tickets into the Hagia Sophia, but was not given a guided tour, which was a disappointment.

Great experience with a good explanation into the history of Hagia Sophia. Kudos to the guide for dealing with an unfriendly encounter while entering the building.

It is the unfairness in difference for entrence fees between resident people and international visitors. We have paid for Troja, Assos, Pamukkale, Patara, the Caverns and Hagia Sophia. Together more than 600€ more than Turkish residents. We were not visiting Ephesos Galata and Topkapi Palace because of that. As a foreign tourist you feel not welcomed by the authority. Just by the people.

Be aware, the requirements to have covered knees and head is optional! While my family was forced to spend $50 on coverings by our guide , many people walked inside in shorts whithout anyone telling them about it.

Buse our guide was well prepared, entertaining, knowledgeable and passionate about Istanbul and its history. She answered all our questions and showed us parts of Hagia Sophia we would never have seen if we had come on our own. 100% recommend and exceeded our expectations.

Our guide, Arda, was charismatic and entertaining and loved to hear our questions about the monuments that we went through. Also the lady (I don't remember her name) who organized the tours was very helpful when we told her that for a mistake of the app our tour was fixed at the wrong hour (2PM instead of 3PM) so she solved the issue for us. :)

The guide was knowledgeable, the subject was interesting. It was, however, hot and there was nowhere to sit while the guide talked, tho we did sit on the floor for a while, but I'm in my 70s so that became uncomfortable. That's not Headout's fault, but it can be difficult for the guide to hold the attention of Westerners not used to that heat. Maybe you could provide fans, or something?

The Blue Mosque is crowded all the time and we were a group of ~30 people, which, combined with a lack of passion from our guide made it impossible for us to hear and understand the context of the tour. We did the Hagia Sofia following the Blue Mosque, and it was very nice. Guides/groups can go into Hagia Sofia talking, so all the overview and history was taught before we entered the Hagia Sofia, and then we used the audio guides. 10x better. I would advise you not to hire a guide for the Blue Mosque (use the audio guide instead)

Hakan was simply amazing giving us an over view of Historic Turkey at the Hagia Sofia along with some very interesting info about Istanbul. This part was definitely worth it, although you'll never get to visit the lower floor of the Hagia Sofia. But the guide for the Blue Mosque tour was alright, but got too much into the details of Islam as a religion. I would have hoped to learn more about the architect of the blue mosque or the materials of construction or some other interesting aspects. The Blue Mosque provided headscarves/ robes for tourists in skirts/ shorts, quite a novel gesture from the Mosque!

The mosques were cool. The best part was our guide, Hal. Very knowledgeable and personable. It's always fun to talk classic rock while touring historical sites.
