City Sightseeing: Genoa Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour

Nice routes, blue line bus was very comfy, red line bus was a bit old and noisy.

REd line cut off a significant part of the tour. The times (start and end times) are shorter than on web site. Buses do NOT run every 15 minutes, i waited over an hour. Even the app shows 'next bus' is 48 minutes! The 'hostess' seems to be on the bus to chat with the bus driver, definetely not to answer any questions. The audio was good ... but more than half was music or silence. Clearly, there was much more one could say about Genoa. I will put a very negative review on social media so that others don't waste their money.

Information in the bus( Audio guide) was clear and understanable. Bus attendances were helpfull The tree branches were hitting the canopy on some places on the road

The Hop-On-Hop-Off concept works OK. We rate the experience as Good from the stand point that you can stay on the bus for one (or more) round trips and get a decent overview of the city and landmarks. However, it is not like a true guided bus tour, but the cost is far less. Unfortunately, the audio tour via head phones is somewhat difficult to hear and the description of a landmark is often presented either before or after the landmark. Not surprising when you consider the traffic the bus is moving through. Three downsides are: 1) the schedule of when the next bus will arrive at a pick-up location is pretty difficult to determine, so you may have a long wait for the next bus, 2) the route map is confusing (trying to figure out the route map by simultaneously following Google Maps is interesting, and not in a good way), 3) taking pictures while on the move is less than desirable. Even so, in the end, I would say it is not too bad of a value.

We loved the bus tour, both blue and red line. But the waiting time at the first (cruise) stop was so long, had to wait for 3 busses to step in the heat without sitting down.

Ticketing was quite easy and the bus routes audio description was bery good
