Carcassonne Castle & Ramparts Tickets

Very practical and quick to reserve tickets online, and above all, to avoid wasting time in the queue (which is quite long during school vacations and the summer season) at the ticket office.

The ticket was available very quickly, so I was able to visit the most beautiful castle I've ever been to. Fantastic views and lots of wonderful photo opportunities.

Amazing! Didn't realize you could walk around rhe whole main wall and get a feel of what if would be like to live in carcassonne. Not to mention all the cafe and restaurants, again thought there would be a gift shop but we spent a good part of the day there , eating, exploring and shopping

You think you know what to expect from the tourist pictures, but is so vast and impressive that cameras cannot do it justice. Great signage and information boards help put it all in context. A wonderful experience and such a world treasure to be respected and cherished.

Entry went smoothly and we really enjoyed the tour. There was always something to read, just the right amount of information and not too much, so that we had time to let the atmosphere and impressions sink in. Highly recommended.

Easy entrance and very beautiful castle. But there were too many people and there were always traffic jams (stairs, wall, toilet, ...).

Avec nos billets coupe file nous avons du faire la queue comme tous ceux qui avaient acheté leurs billets sur internet. Sinon endroit magnifique on en a prit pleins les yeux.

Easy to complete the recording with the app. The tour of the castle and ramparts with the audio guide was perfect. Just long enough, but not too long, very good summary of the important points and above all the audio guide worked very well.

The environment, the atmosphere, the courtesy of the staff, the magnificent view from the top of the ramparts and the beauty of the château.

The castle is very well preserved, and we were lucky enough to have a sunny day, so we were able to take sublime photos of the city from the ramparts. The headout application is very easy to use, and the presentation of the ticket photo enabled us to enter the castle quickly, without waiting. We'd be delighted to do it again with our family during a longer stay.

Entry with the online ticket was easy and saved a lot of time. The castle and the defensive walls are interesting and worthwhile. However, the rooms inside the castle are empty and have no exhibits. My visit took around 30 minutes in total.

The whole ticketing experiência was fine. It was easy to buy , get and use the tickets. Carcassone Castle and the ramparts are impressive and amazing. We loved the visit and recommend it

The whole historic site was amazing from the moment we arrived at the main entrance and visiting inside the Castle and reading the history was absolutely breathtaking.

Tickets were so easy to buy through Headout which was very helpful when we don't speak much French. The app made it easy to show our passes at the gate and go straight through. The ramparts were very much worth it; it was so amazing to explore a real castle and get to walk around such a big section of it. Loved the gift shop too; great things! Be aware that the gift shop is half way through the tour by the way. Maybe better to buy the hypocras down in the town rather than up and down the second section of ramparts.

Getting out of the rain, at least for some parts of the tour. The English audio guide was helpful, but it was not always clear on where we should be.

All was an amazing experience, and the place is so beautiful and well maintained, my friend and I were very impressed by the size of the city. Highly recommended!!

When we arrived there was a lot of people waiting to enter the castle and we had bought our tickets so we didn't have to wait for it.
