Vienna City Card: 24/48/72-Hour or 7-Day Pass with Unlimited Public Transport

I was able to use those tickets easily and I used all public transportation so I visited all historical places in Vienna.

The access to public transport was excellent. We used the trams and underground to get around. Because the weather was good we didn't visit many museums, but those we did gave us a discount without any problems

Being able to get on and off subways and buses at will. The reductions due to age proved to be more attractive than the reduction offered by City Card

The Vienna card made it very easy to use public transit. I wish for the extra auto tours of the city there were more exaperiences listed.

Everything was easy to reach by subway and streetcar. It's especially nice how often the streetcars run. The discounts at museums and so on are also good.

I wanted only transfers within Vienna, but it seem that I've paid also for entrance to attractions which I did NOT used.

Used various discounts and was also able to make good use of the excellent public network without having to deal with a vending machine. Not a single check was made.

We enjoyed being able to have the extra freedom to explore Vienna using available public transport. We weren't sure if we were required to tap on and off buses, trams and trains so assumed we could simply show our passes to a conductor upon request. Instructions regarding this could have been provided following our online purchase. Overall, a good experience.

The ticket is very user-unfriendly and it would be advisable to optimize the whole thing in terms of ergonomics and usability. Redeeming the so-called discounts is completely opaque. It would also be helpful to point out that the ticket is hardly worthwhile for older people (65 and over), as the age-related discount is more attractive at many museums.

The total independence on the road is fantastic. I could hop on any train without thinking and just set off. That made my vacation in Vienna very relaxed. I can only recommend this option.
