Acropolis & The Plaka Old Town Guided Tour with Entry Tickets

We mainly came for the acropolis but the tour through old town was a super nice surprise. It gives more perspective what happened over time in Athens. The guide Tina was super knowledgeable and took great care of us.

Wonderful experience, I absolutely recommend. (In my case, I also purchased a visit to the Plaka district, the ancient city.)

Very well organized, the tour we chose wqs just right and Christina was the most amazing guide ever, super friendly, knowledged and speaking perfect English. 5 Stars plus for her!

I couldn't hear the guide as well as I wanted to. She spent a lot of time on mythology instead of archaeology. The tour of Planka was good.

The tour was very complete and well explained. We managed to see all the acropolis and get the story of everything as well as interesting facts. Plaka was also worth visit to see some spots that alone without a guide you might missed The guide ( Myrta Maria ) was very nice and answered all the questions we could have

The checkin process was chaotic. Too may tours scheduled for the meeting point at the same start time. The guided tour was so busy, I thought the advantage of the early morning tour would be to avoid peak times. It felt like all the guided tours companies were starting at the same time and the experience was spoilt by not being exclusive. The tour guide was informative but the overall experience was tainted because of the clash with other guided tours. I feel waiting a couple of hours paying the entry fee of €20 and going it alone would have been a more enjoyable experience.

Christina gave a fantastic tour! Informative, easy pace for families, answered lots of questions. Highly recommend her for the Acropolis and Plaka walking tour.

Overall is good. Would have been better if we can go straight to the acropolis early before the crowd gets there. Instead the tour start explaining the lower part first. By the time we get to acropolis gate it was 9:45, already crowded and hot.

It was a very pleasant walk that allowed us to get to know the Acropolis well. Excellent guidance given by the Guide who accompanied the visit.

I've booked the experience for the first hour available because i knew it would be quite hot and crowded. The day before i've got an email saying that it would be delayed and that we should be at the meeting point 5min before. Even being at the right time, the group left before. Even though, the agency put me in the other tour. It was good and informative, but too crowded. So i had a good experience however, i recommend going on the first tour hopping it wont be delayed..

Oleshia (sorry for the probably incorrect spelling), from Ukraine, was a really great guide! She was excellent at setting expectations, minding everyones safety in the heat and the crowds, and explaining everything at a nice pace with very interesting content.

Lovely tour though it was very hard to understand the guide as her mic picked up a lot of wind and other sounds.
