Guided Tour of Topkapi Palace & Harem with Skip-the-Line Tickets

We got lost at the entrance, we couldn't find the Topkapi café, I don't remember the name but he just explained the map of the place and told us to walk around it, I thought he was going to accompany us and explain the tour.

Over 30 minutes late. No information or assistance. The name of the service is misleading "Guided tour". This is absolutely not a guided tour, but a tour with your cell phone and QR code to scan... Exorbitant price. Outrageous.

The site is beyond awe-inspiring and important; the skip-the-line guided intro was exttremely helpful to enter and receive a thorough orientation so one could explore the Topkapi on one's own...and the guide was TERRIFIC. Highly recommend! :)

Our guide himself was amazing, no complaints. However we thought it was a guided tour of the palace but it ended up being a tour to the garden where he explained all the rooms and then left us after 45 mins to visit each attraction.

I loved the building, the architecture, I would have liked to hear what the inscriptions said. I had hoped to see the harem, I'd been there long ago, and have forgotten it. The treasuru was excellent, that part was without a guide, but a guide could not have helped in the narrow corridors. I am so glad I went.

The advert started it was a guided tour of the palace AND harem, but this was not the case - our guide did not enter the harem with us. Also there was no audio guide as stated in the advert, which meant we were on our own once the guide had left. I felt we would have been better off with the audio guide!!

I tought that the HAREM part will be included to be explained by guide, not just to get information that there are 4 parts of Topkapi palace and scan the ticket to enter Topkapi yard and to enter Harem, than to walk by myself from Harem enter to the rest of this amazing place. It's not problem with guide, he is good man and good guide, just I tought that will get explanation about Harem part of Topkapi too, I knew that will go trough Topkapi and read all signs, but to loose 30 minutes just to enter, that is not okay. But all in all I had amazing time in Topkapi, just didn't get enough information beside my reading and using Google for some stuff.

The guide informed me that at the time of my entry, 3 pm no guided tours are offered and to complain to Headout. The guide just escorted me to the entrance turnstile and left. lousy service!

The tour was a disappointment on account of the guide. He did not do the job well. The location and palace was spectacular. You should not scam people into this tour . Audio tour would have been better. Please don't disappoint visitors like this.

Purchased a package for 2 adults and 1 child and was forced to purchase another ticket at the venue. Very confusing since I showed my receipt for the tickets but was told I had to give them another 60 euro. Very confusing. Tour was okay. Tour Guide was very nice and helpful.
