Guided Tour of Topkapi Palace & Harem with Skip-the-Line Tickets

The guided tour was an excellent choice. We've learned about the history of the Palace and some incredible details. It was easy to find the meeting point and the guide was nice.

Our guide Mehmet did the 50 minute orientation very well. Then we saw the exhibits on our own, which took me two hours, including the unmissable harem. Make sure you tell Mehmet at the headset testing at the start if your headset might not be working. I even saw a gardener with a weapon on his shoulder, just before I went to the weapons section which had similar weapons.

A very well organised experience - we were not lucky with the weather, but our guide Arda made our tour very interactive and made sure we did not stay long under the pouring rain.

Purchased this for skip the line entry at Hagia Sophia and Topkapi where lines were surprisingly really long. The tour guide Hal was great at Hagia Sophia and we could explore the mosque at our own pace inside. Topkapi offers free audio guides and tour covers only a part of the palace. Group size was quite large 25-30 people so we used audio headsets that didn't function very well. Recommend for Hagia Sophia, but recommend self paced tour of Topkapi - there's a lot to see there but the information museum provides is good you can manage on your own.

The site is beyond awe-inspiring and important; the skip-the-line guided intro was exttremely helpful to enter and receive a thorough orientation so one could explore the Topkapi on one's own...and the guide was TERRIFIC. Highly recommend! :)

Our guide himself was amazing, no complaints. However we thought it was a guided tour of the palace but it ended up being a tour to the garden where he explained all the rooms and then left us after 45 mins to visit each attraction.

I loved the building, the architecture, I would have liked to hear what the inscriptions said. I had hoped to see the harem, I'd been there long ago, and have forgotten it. The treasuru was excellent, that part was without a guide, but a guide could not have helped in the narrow corridors. I am so glad I went.

Overall it was quite informative and tour guide gave detailed explanation. I did not realize that the entrance ticket was not included in the tour, until the end.

Our guide was for be but it was a very expensive place to visit & incredibly crowded. Definitely interesting & I'm glad we did it but the level of crowds really impacted the experience. Lots of parts we didn't see as the queues were horrendous.

it was clear and all went well-guide very clear-i appreciate he did not really act as a guide but as a person who helped to plan the visit

it was sad to see the Aya Sofia under mosque police, who were very unfriendly, even forbidding me sit down on my folding stick. The security the entrance had allowed it in.Sadder still that the most beautiful mozaics were for the most part covered No more restauration by Unesco because it is no longer a museum. However, a good guide and the Hagia Sofia still rises partly above the pettines of the day.

we did not know we had to meet outside the palace at the tour guide tent. Only realized this after entering the palace and had to return back outside. Lost about half hour this way. Otherwise a great experience. We ended up venturing off the tour and explore on our own just to be able to see everything in a decent time.

The guide was excelent and it was a very good visit. The problem was wandering around 30 min searching for the cafe (meeting point) and hearing everyone say they did have no idea of what we were looking for. We lost the guide for 3 minutes and had to wait for 1h for the next visit

Really great place, lots to see. Was there for over 4 hours. Only needed to cover head, shoulders and knees when we went on the holy relics room, but worth going in.

The guide seemed in hurry. He didn't conduct the visit of Palace ( Sultan residential area) and after our entry he vanished without informing the group.

Our guide was good but it was very diffcult to find the place to meet up with the team for registration. The whole site is was huge and we were going around and around in circles!

Ticketing was excellent and they even took us an hour early! Tour guide was very good, too. No complaints or suggestions for improvements except to maybe simplify the directions for finfding th meeting place. We found it but only after walking all around the Hagia--had you said "Look for us in the Southeast (or whatever is right direction) of the Hagia, it would have been clearer.

The tour tickets required 15 Euros per child, including our three year old, when the intrance to Topkapi for kids 6 and under is free. The guide rushed through it and provided very generic information with no depth about the place. There is no skip-the-line option. We stood in the line for 20 minutes. The only positive is the guide was very friendly.

Our tour guide was absolutely fantastic! One of the best guide ever: positive, smiling, patient, knowledgeable, and great storyteller. I recommend 100%.
