Kunsthistorisches Museum Vienna Admission Tickets

This was one of the greatest museums I ever visited. The walls on the inside were absolutely stunning. The art itself was also beautiful and a lot. Definitely would recommend and worth the visit!!

We liked the exhibition. We really liked the vending machines. We would have liked to have seen more detailed descriptions in addition to the movie. We were a little irritated by the fact that we had to convert our e-ticket into a paper ticket.

I bought the ticket online to avoid having to queue. On site, however, I had to "redeem" the ticket for a paper ticket. I therefore had to queue again in the rain. Completely pointless that I bought the ticket online.

i bought ticket from here and when i went to museum, they sent me out and i wait under rain for 2 hours for to take qr code from information desk. I will never buy again from you.

Why don't you get a QR code straight away? The fact that you still have to queue is annoying. It wasn't clear to me, otherwise I wouldn't have ordered it. We ordered a table for breakfast and with the long waiting time it was no longer possible to arrive on time.

Look for Klimt's frescos at the antrance. They are easy to spot once you know what you ar3 looking for, ask at the information

It was very nice to buy a ticket online and print it out at the museum. It's a very nice museum. I recommend it! The staff was very nice, they were sincere and gave professional answers.

The Kunsthistorisches Museum Vienna is a must see! I was absolutely surprised at the immense collection of art that they have. It felt like a never ending labyrinth of unbelievably beautiful and breathtaking art pieces. Make sure to alot at least 4 hours to enjoy the whole museum. And the architecture of the museum itself ... AMAZING!

I wonder why my online tickets cost more (43 eur) than ones bought at venue (42 eur). I wonder why external app is needed/required in the process at all. I wonder why I could not receive some directly scanable QR code (or bar code) but I had to anyway print the tickets at the cash desk.

The KHM seriously sells tickets through you guys but you have to redeem them at the ticket office, are you all completely wilting? I buy tickets online to avoid queuing if possible! Surprise

Great, we loved everything, the museum itself is a work of art, we spent almost two hours with my family touring it all, an unforgettable experience.

The visit was great and the museum was beautiful. The only issue I had was with ticket collection. I don't understand why the online ticket cannot be final without the need to queue to collect the actual tickets. This defeats the purpose of pre-booking, in my opinion. By comparison, the online ticket for the Upper Belvedere allows you to walk straight in.

The fact, that I felt exactly like in the game "Mafia", its last mission called "The Death of Art" has place in the gallery, which, in fact, is Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna:)

The Rembrandt/Hoogstraten exhibition was a delight. But the logistics would have inspired Frank Kafka. We buy tickets on line, queue up at the entrance where they send us back outside 'for printing the tickets '. And signing a receipt for them 😳. Then queuing back. No mention anywhere about the need to book time slots (and extra charges). It is highly inefficient.
