Just the layout of the museum and all the different pieces of old sculptures. However I think the museum wasted a lot of space as the volume of the structure is so much bigger than the surface that was covered. But it was user friendly and easy to get to everythig once you are inside the museum. However to far to still walk from the drop off area to the actual entrance of the museum. Especially in summer it will be a problem.

We as family were very impressed by our visit to the grand Egyptian museum. No hold ups going in to the museum. Inside as we went in is a vast hall leading to the stairs with well laid out statues all the way up. The floors and walls were of highly polished stone. Ths place is a real credit to all concerned. When I entered the building I was overcome by emotion. I have waited about 3 years for this and it well worth the visit

It was a great exhibition with lots of detail in English. The only downside was I bought my tickets online and the hours were posted as closing at 5pm. After we arrived at 2:30 and started moving through the exhibition the pursers came to us and said they would close at 4:00 pm. That should have been posted on the web site so we could plan better.

Visiting the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) is nothing short of a transformative experience that transcends mere sightseeing; it is a profound journey through the annals of one of the world’s oldest civilizations. Opened to the public in 2023, this architectural marvel stands as a testament to Egypt's rich heritage, seamlessly merging modern design with ancient history. **Architecture and Design:** As you approach the GEM, the first thing that strikes you is its awe-inspiring architecture. The museum’s exterior is a stunning blend of contemporary aesthetics and traditional Egyptian motifs, creating a welcoming yet majestic atmosphere. The vast glass façade allows natural light to flood the interior, illuminating the artifacts in a way that highlights their beauty and significance. The layout is meticulously designed, guiding you through different epochs of Egyptian history with intuitive flow and accessibility. **Exhibition Highlights:** Once inside, visitors are greeted by an extensive collection of over 100,000 artifacts, many of which are on display for the first time. The centerpiece is undoubtedly the treasures of Tutankhamun. Seeing these artifacts up close, from the iconic golden mask to the intricately crafted jewelry, is a breathtaking experience that brings the young pharaoh’s story to life. Each piece is accompanied by detailed descriptions and interactive displays that enhance understanding and appreciation. The museum also houses significant exhibits on ancient Egyptian daily life, religion, and burial practices, providing a comprehensive perspective on the civilization's complexity. The use of cutting-edge technology, including augmented reality experiences, allows visitors to engage with the exhibits in innovative ways, making history feel alive and relevant. **Cultural Immersion:** The Grand Egyptian Museum goes beyond mere exhibition; it fosters a deep connection with Egypt's cultural heritage. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the artifacts, offering insights and stories that enrich the experience. Guided tours are available, and I highly recommend taking one to fully appreciate the context of the exhibits. The museum also serves as a hub for educational programs, workshops, and cultural events, making it a vibrant part of Egypt's contemporary cultural landscape. It’s clear that the GEM is not just a place to view history but also a space that promotes learning and engagement with Egypt’s past. **Visitor Experience:** Amenities at the GEM are thoughtfully designed to enhance the visitor experience. From spacious galleries to comfortable resting areas, every detail is accounted for. The museum's café offers delicious local cuisine, providing the perfect spot to recharge before diving back into the wonders of ancient Egypt. The gift shop is a treasure trove of unique souvenirs, from replicas of artifacts to beautifully crafted jewelry, ensuring you leave with a piece of Egypt to remember your visit. **Conclusion:** In summary, the Grand Egyptian Museum is more than just a museum; it is a celebration of Egypt’s illustrious past and a bridge to its future. Whether you are a history buff, an art lover, or simply curious about the world, GEM offers an unparalleled experience that will leave you inspired and awestruck. I wholeheartedly recommend visiting this remarkable institution—it is a journey worth taking, and it will undoubtedly deepen your appreciation for one of humanity's most fascinating civilizations.

No waiting, thanks to tickets reserved on the Headout site. An exceptional place, very well designed and fitted out. Finally open to the public after long years of work and the commitment of several countries and all the men and women who work here. A big bravo and thank you. Unforgettable. My children and I were delighted.

Truly an excellent museum, two drawbacks...no free Wifi access for tourists and difficult access due to construction work. But it's a must-see 😀

Great layout and amazing artefacts, well curated. Too bad the entire museum wasn't open, and having to go back up to come done again and exit seems a bit strange. But overall a great experience and well worth it.

I could not open the ticket on your website. The Museum staff tried a long time to open the ticket site. Finally they got the ticket but without them it was very difficult& no way to get it. The website needs a simpler access to the ticket if there is a confirmation number already.

Amazing museum - a superb setting to showcase ancient Egyptian civilisation and I was particularly impressed by the artistic design of the displays. Can't wait to return after the Tutankhamen exhibition is relocated to the GEM later this year

The space and layout of the museum were great. The exhibits were great although a bit disappointed there were were no Tutankamun exhibits; they remain for the time being at the old museum at Tahir Square. Those exhibits would be better displayed at the GEM.

Although not fully open yet, the new museum is a stunning piece of architecture that cleverly relates to the nearby Giza pyramids. The scale and generosity of space optimises the appreciation of the exhibits and the movement of visitors. Ramesses looks amazing in the open central area. The ancient architects would have been proud.
