From Krakow: Auschwitz-Birkenau Guided Tour with Hotel Transfers

The Auschwitz tour guide was very knowledgeable and gave us very important information. The company only sent us an e-mail, but we would have expected them to provide more detailed information via a platform such as WhatsApp a day in advance. The minibus and travel were very comfortable.

The collection point of the driver and the bus escort was fantastic, they explained everything of how long the journey will be, how long the guide tour will be. The auschwitz and birkenau camps was heartbreaking, the tour guide was fantastic explaining everything in details, we left the camp mentally challenged after what we were told and seen how they lived their lives at the camps. Overall it's highly recommended.

Very good visit, very necessary so that we cannot relive what happened there. The schedules were changed, as well as the meeting point, although it did not affect our plans. The assistance of the guide Olivia gave us a very complete picture about everything that happened in the concentration and extermination camps. It is not a pretty experience, it is hard, but very enlightening.

Concerning the visit itself, we liked our guide - Agnieszka, it was very interesting to listen to her explanations. The bus and transfering from the first to the second camp was very speedy, we were running to the toilets !!! as the agency accompanator gave us five minutes only. But finally I understood that timing was not bad at all!

The tour guide Thomas was the best! He explained everything really well and even talked about his own experiences, as his family experienced Auschwitz first-hand.

An experience full of history and emotion. I recommend going at least once in your life to feel and remember.

The plain matter of fact way our amazing guide was telling the story really hit home the sheer scale of the atrocities committed in Auchwitz and Birkenau.

We received an email the day before to say our times had been changed - booked 8am pick up, changed to 9:40am. Not a massive problem for us as we had nothing else planned that day. Bus guide was chatty and friendly - explained in great detail how the day would unfold. The tour guide was good. Shared details well. The overall experience is difficult to sum up as it's such a tragic journey so you can't say "I had a great time" I felt it was very busy and felt we could have had longer at points to take things in and ask questions but it was difficult as there were so many groups.

Very well organised, on time, good airconditioned bus. Both guides very friedly and professional. Pre-ordered lunchbox was adequate. All the information before trip was thorough and precise. Special thanks to our guide at Auschwitz, Natalia. She was very clear, sympathetic but professional, answered all our questions precisely. The only minor minus is that even though the trip lasted about 8hrs altogether, the time especially at Birkenau felt too short, and we has to move very quickly. There was no time to contemplate the place and it's history very well.

Booking was easy, the company did message me a few days before the trip to try and change the booking, but as it was only a short break I refused the change. A word of warning the pick up and drop off is as close to your hotel, not at your hotel so if you you have any mobility issues be warned. The mini bus was very well equipped and comfortable, the tours were both with the same guide who explained so so much. It was a very good tour and the length of the tour for both the camps with travel was around seven and a half hours pick up to drop off.

At the beginning we were very confused, as we had booked a pick-up at the hotel at 10.00 am and received a WhatsApp the day before that we should be at a meeting point. At 5.45 am! In retrospect, this was a very good decision. However, customers should be informed of this at the time of booking or shortly afterwards. We had booked a tour of Auschwitz and Birkenau. It was perfectly organized, from the journey in the air-conditioned minibus (approx. 1 hour and 10 minutes), to the German tour guide on site, who imparted a lot of knowledge to us with her calm and very friendly manner. Many thanks again at this point. When we started our return journey, we knew why our booking had been brought forward 4 hours. The parking lot was overcrowded with coaches, people without end. A guided tour like the one we had would not have been possible under these circumstances. What we personally found very unfortunate was that almost none of the participants thanked the bus driver or the tour guide with a tip. Of course the excursion was paid for, but if you liked something you should reward it accordingly. That is part of good manners. Our verdict: UNCONDITIONALLY RECOMMENDED!!!

It is a good opportunity to visit a.sitio.no q run you do not make films to enter. The staff was friendly, correct and impeccable punctuality. The guide explained everything very well and was open to answer questions. A nice group all easy and organized pace.

Everything was very well organized, from the transfer to the tour of the camps. Our guide was passionate and explained the history of the camps very well, taking the time to answer all our questions. The visit was very moving, and it's a real duty to remember the atrocities that were committed there.

La guide francophone était très bien. La visite est trop courte malheureusement mais il y a beaucoup de monde donc on ne peut pas trop traîner. Tout est bien organisé.
