It was an expensive guided tour to basically have someone give you less information than the provided information in the castle. It was often difficult to hear the guide and it just seemed like the company wasn't overly friendly. Certainly not rude but... not very interested in service/hospitality. We needed to wait for 20min to start because others were late, not the guides fault. However, just another frustration with the overall experience. Would not recommend at all. Better to go on your own when it's convenient for you. We planned our trip around the tours timings, wasn't worth the hassle.

It was the first time we visited the castle and we loved it. The truth is that it hides a lot of history of the country. As for the guided tour is something I recommend, because as you go into the different rooms they tell you the story that happened there.
As for the woman who gave us the tour, she spoke fantastic Spanish and made the tour in a very pleasant way. She also made sure that we all arrived safely, especially my grandparents who are a bit older.
As a personal recommendation, if it is cloudy take an umbrella because there are areas of the castle that are outdoors and you can get wet if it rains.
