Original Sound Of Music Tour from Salzburg

Great itinerary. Multiple opportunities to stop and take photos. David was an excellent guide with so much interesting knowledge. Fun singing on the bus! The only negative was the cafe that was recommended in Mondsee- it had rude staff who took ages to serve people and then refused take away service when time was up for our visit.

A great amount of information provided. Conner and Hacki did an awesome job and made it very fun trying to involve everyone in one way or another.

We loved our tour with Panoramic! Our tour guide was fantastic, singing with us up and down the aisles of the bus. Very informative, and a great chance to see the beautiful Austrian countryside! It made us feel like we were right there in the movie.

We participated with four kids between 11-14 , German speaking (!), but true sound of music fans, and had a blast. Carly, the guide from Australia did an amazing job! This is an absolute must!

Overall loved the activity. It was a bucket list tick for me. Ticketing was easy - no issues. re the experience, I think there could have been more substance to the tour - a visit to the location where the movie opened .

Our tour guide Kaileigh (not sure if spelling) was an absolute PERFECT hostess. She made the entire 4 hours fun, comfortable, engaging....& she was FULL of facts about the movie and locations. Ticketing was very easy.

Commentary was excellent and the Austrian countryside was beautiful! Learned more than we thought we would. David and Ivo were such great hosts!

Our guide, Simon was amazing!!! He made our experience informative, fun and heart warming. Our four hours with him were outstanding, and we would have enjoyed being with him the rest of the day! The sites chosen to visit were terrific, expecially going to Mondsee and viewing the Basilica of St. Michael. Driving thorugh the Austrian countryside singing Do-Re-Mi brought tears to our eyes and was very emotional. This was also a wonderful way to see famous sites in Salzburg.

Our guide, Peter, was wonderful. He was informative and entertaining. Our driver was very good. The content was appropriate and thorough.

Bridget was fabulous and made the tour. The places we were taken to was brilliant. Bridget was very knowledgeable about the places and had little snippets regarding the making of the movie and the real Von Trap family. We had a great morning.

Very funny and informative tour around the movie and the musical "Sound of Music". As an Austrian you are rather the exception. Bus driver and tour guide absolutely top.

Besides the beautiful locations, our host Bridgit was sooo fun and enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the behind the scenes of the movie that it was very well paced. The only complaint is that it was over too soon :D

The tour was fantastic, funny, interesting and puctuale. The guide was hilarious and singing on the bus was a great family moment.

The guide David really made the story come alive with his wealth of knowledge about Salzburg and the filming of the Sound of Music. His passion is contagious! Our driver was very calm and got us there and back safely. As my phone battery was low, he kindly charged my phone. Overall - a dynamic duo! The ticketing experience was straightforward and smooth.

We had a blast on the Sound of Music tour - can't recommend it highly enough, a fantastic way to see Salzburg and its surrounds and a magical day! Our tour guide was amazing!

It was easy to book and when we showed up for our tour everything went smoothly. Met the group at the designated meeting spot and got on the bus right there. Tour guide and bus driver (Kylie and Dragon) were very friendly and knowledgeable! Loved hearing the stories and details about the movie and singing along to the songs together. I have never seen the movie but had a basic understanding of its significance and still thoroughly enjoyed myself. A once in a lifetime opportunity and so glad we did it! Side note for parents of little ones: Thankfully there were multiple stops with bathrooms too! Pack plenty of snacks and water just in case. We brought our stroller and that helped a lot for the longer stop at Montsee that had more walking.

It was a well run operation. The Australian host in Austria was a hoot. Both my wife and I got emotional as we both thought our respective mums, sadly no longer with us, would have loved it especially the singing.

Simon was a great tour leader and got all of us singing on the bus. The views were spectacular and he told us many fun stories about the filming. Really enjoyed the tour!

Wasn't a huge sound of music fan but so glad I went on the tour- was lots of fun and the views across the lakes and visiting Mondsee was wonderful. Highly recommend!
