Original Sound Of Music Tour from Salzburg

Very funny and informative tour around the movie and the musical "Sound of Music". As an Austrian you are rather the exception. Bus driver and tour guide absolutely top.

The tour was fantastic, funny, interesting and puctuale. The guide was hilarious and singing on the bus was a great family moment.

Simon was a really fun & knowledgeable guide on our tour. We learnt a lot about the movie locations & the actors too. Definitely a wonderful experience for anyone who grew up with The Sound of Music 🎶 We had a great time 😃

The driver was awesome and considerate and they even waited for me when I was 5 mkns late to join the tour after a crappy start to the day the kindness was just what I needed.

The Sound of Music Tour was amazing and worth the money, and it's fun! Plus easy to get tickets with headlout and so recommend anytime!

The stops seemed to be appropriate, the tour guide thoroughly knowledgeable and entertaining. Enjoyed the singing.

Seeing the locations where the film was shot and hearing about the back stories. Also see lots of Salzburg and the lakes.

Booking the tickets via Headout was easy and not too expensive compared to other re-sellers of the same tour. The ONLY things that irked me was the fact that if somone wanted a soft drink or water there was an on the bus charge. I would have preferred that the tour ticket to be a couple of Euros more and a drink offered for free! Also, it is tantamont to begging to mention that there is a basket for tips at the end of the tour. Although good value, the tour isn't particularly cheap and to then ask for tips is not appreciated. It should be up to individual people if they wanted to show additional appreciation. Having said all that, the tour and tour guide were excellent and we had an enjoyable experience.

I loved the whole thing! April was a fabulous guide, and the places visited were spectacular, especially the locations in the Alps.

Our guide Susie was great. No issues at all with her knowledge, sense of humour and professionalism. We had a small group of 5 in a minibus and it was a very cold day. When I booked I was under the impression we would be in a bus and therefore warm and also a better atmosphere with the music, singalongs, etc. Hard to achieve that with a group of 5 and not a reflection on Susie. I appreciate the bookings may not have justified a bus but we passed two other groups all morning, with 6 and 8 people respectively and they didn't include the other private tour groups. The main feedback for you is to manage expectations when the tour is different from what is advertised.

Great itinerary. Multiple opportunities to stop and take photos. David was an excellent guide with so much interesting knowledge. Fun singing on the bus! The only negative was the cafe that was recommended in Mondsee- it had rude staff who took ages to serve people and then refused take away service when time was up for our visit.

A great amount of information provided. Conner and Hacki did an awesome job and made it very fun trying to involve everyone in one way or another.

We loved our tour with Panoramic! Our tour guide was fantastic, singing with us up and down the aisles of the bus. Very informative, and a great chance to see the beautiful Austrian countryside! It made us feel like we were right there in the movie.

We participated with four kids between 11-14 , German speaking (!), but true sound of music fans, and had a blast. Carly, the guide from Australia did an amazing job! This is an absolute must!

Overall loved the activity. It was a bucket list tick for me. Ticketing was easy - no issues. re the experience, I think there could have been more substance to the tour - a visit to the location where the movie opened .

Our tour guide Kaileigh (not sure if spelling) was an absolute PERFECT hostess. She made the entire 4 hours fun, comfortable, engaging....& she was FULL of facts about the movie and locations. Ticketing was very easy.
