Combo: Acropolis + Acropolis Museum Guided Tour with Entry Tickets

The only way to understand a complex place like The Acropolis is with a well informed guide. She had a nice pace and strong organization.

Our tour guide, George, was amazing. He was knowledgeable, funny, chatty, and very nice. He made the experience that much better.

George was really informative, funny and had a great pace for the tour. We really enjoyed having him as a guide! I didn't realize until later, but we could have gone to acropolis again after the tour, and wished we had known, as I am assuming there was more to see. My husband also wanted to stay longer at the museum and until we clarified it didn't seem possible (although George ended up being very helpful in this regard!)

The tour guide, "Julie" was excellent in all aspects. She was knowledgeable, very articulate, gave enough time to see and enjoy the sights, and explained the important aspects well.

While our guide was very knowledgeable and pleasant his delivery was very dry. I felt over whelmed with information. I understand that this site has a lot of history but in my opinion it would be better to only present the most important ones. Fact after fact after fact is overwhelming and boring. It would have been nice to have thrown in some fun facts or even folklore. It makes a presentation more interesting. Our guides english was pretty good but with a thick accent it would have been better to slow down the speed with which he talked so we could better understand him. There is no doubt about his knowledge, it just got boring.

The entire experience was top rate. From check in to final was easy and fun. The Guide was exceptional and extremely knowledgable. Very satisfied!!

The tour itself was great. Loved the guide. The biggest issue was I was redirected 3 times at the starting point and it was utter kaos. No signs for direction and everyone working there telling us a different thing. Made us feel quite uneasy in a foreign country and no direction.

Guide was very knowledgeable and the pace of the tour was just right. Couple of minor negatives, although we had booked the 8:15 start and were told to arrive 15 minutes early the actual tour did not start from the office until after 8:45. So a lot of hanging about waiting. The other slight negative was that the tour guide had to queue for the museum tickets rather than them being available on arrival. But think it is well worth having the benefit of someone who is both passionate and knowledgeable rather than maybe missing some of the more interesting aspects of the sites.

We had a great morning, Yannis our guide was very informative. He gave us stops on the way up the acropolis so it wasn't too exhausting, explaining the different temples.

The guide was interesting and had a lot of information. The microphone was terrible and this should be improved especially when charging so much. The mic often cut out due to the wind, which was frustrating. Personally, I didn't feel there was value for the money charged. This was no fault of the guide.

Everything was easy, right from booking through to meeting our guide Hermes....and he was just sensational. Easygoing, very knowledgeable and interesting - a great story-teller who wrapped context around the amazing history through which he walked us!

The tour guide was very pleasant and personable and told the story calmly and took her time. The group size was also very good because there weren't that many of us. All in all, highly recommended.

Our visit to the Acropolis and its museum is heightened by a real life tour guide because the opportunity to interact with a local guide internalized the learning experience. This is something an audio guide can't replace for sure! Thank you Chamera for the lovely tour, and your greeting "kalimera" sounds really beautiful !

Teh guide was incredibly knowledgeable and made the tour that much more valuable. There are plenty of things I would have missed if I had just entered onmy own. I had the Acropolis+Museum tour comboa nd it was well worth it. Would recommend to anyone lookign to go
