My absolute favorite stop of my trip. Even though I have been before David still brings me to tears. Aside from David the museum has so many incredible pieces that are truly an honor in person. A trip to Florence is not complete without visiting la Galleria dell'Accademia.

Many authors in the Uffizi Gallery make a strong impression, but this certainly would not surprise anyone. Personally, I was most impressed by Caravaggio's Medusa. The view from the cafe over Florence is spectacular.

Our visit to see David was great! A must see when in Florence he is a beautiful piece of art 😊 Made so much easier when we mucked up the collection of our tickets, instead going straight to the Accademia. While running back to the pick up location we were intercepted by someone bringing them to us as they had realized what we had done! Very grateful and great customer service .. thank you 😊

Our tickets were for timed entry skipping all lines, and it worked perfectly. We were escorted from an office two blocks away to the rapid entry line, and it worked flawlessly.
We did not use a guide within this museum, as it is a somewhat smaller museum and very easy to negotiate. Saving the time was worth everything!

Signed up for 10am but as requested got there 15minutes early at 9:45am. We were told the Acadamia was running behind at security and asked to come back at 10:30am. We did and we were put on a 10:45 line which didnt get us into the Adacemia until after 11:15am. We felt rushed once we got inside because we had times tickets to the Uffizi after that we didnt want to be late for.

Paying for the cut the line option was not worth it. Additionally the gallery was too hot (even in February!) for comfort. We had the audio guide but had a hard time following the flow of the museum. Admittedly we were already tired when we started the tour. Primavera and the Birth of Venus were highlights.

Museum was as expected and it was great not having to wait in line for tickets. Would have been helpful if the host had some type of identication to make him/her easier to find in the crowd.

Our guide never showed up to meet us, and we finally had to ask the security at the museum to help us out. He ended up calling someone to meet us and give us our tickets so that we could get entry, but we had no guide. We were handed the tickets and he walked away. Not at all what I expected or paid for. I could've paid half the price to just walk into the museum on my own.

Host was late because of tech issues printing tickets- tribune queue was very long and then underwhelming - should have been warned. Where there were definite in doors and out doors staff were not in place so people were just wandering in and out of out doors
