Papal Audience Viewing Experience

Great experience to see the Pope. However, the audience appears to be free. Not entirely clear why this then has to be via Headout. The tour of St. Peter's Basilica was great, impressive and with a guide who was enthusiastic and knowledgeable and knew how to engage the participants.

Booking tickets is a must so you know where you're going and what you need to do. The line for security was really long but moved quickly and it was easy to find a seat. I highly recommend getting there as early as possible! Between 7 and 8 if possible. It was a surreal and very emotional experience and I highly recommend it! I am catholic and I enjoyed every second, so it's definitely something very special to do while in Rome! I booked the tour of the Basilica afterwards and Bridget was my incredible guide! She was so enthusiastic, kind and knowledgeable about everything and we got to hear some little known secrets too! So definitely book the tour too and hopefully you will get Bridget as your guide too, she made an already special experience much more memorable!

Papal audience was great but the tour was just ok. After all the admonishments to not be late, we waited for people fifteen or twenty minutes. Why? Also it was not described well regarding the papal audience and then the tour. More info would have been helpful. Finally we had z as n j used ticket and so do d wanted to use it but that was not allowed.

I loved the audience w the Pope ! Even though a bit crowded getting back in to StPeters the tour guide was excellent , she had a degree in Art history was Italian but spoke English and told us ( actually talked a lot to me ) while we were in line loads of history of the Vatican ! I know it's very crowded but that is how it is people are flocking to beautiful Roma !

It was good, the person that was our guide was late. She did not seem to have information how the procedure would go, where the pope would be and where we would see him. She left us after the tour and left us on our own.

We somehow got into both the papal audience and the basilica pretty quickly rather than waiting in the queue for hours. The guide was so knowledgeable and helped us understand the history and architecture of the basilica. The overall experience was really good!

I available of the Papal audience your which was a rather basic service that works really well for those looking for convenience. I was traveling along with my 74-yr old mother that had mobility challenges, hence the reason I booked this tour. While not particularly for seniors and reduced mobility, our your guide has been very helpful and friendly and made it possible for my mom to follow the rest of the group with no hassle. I'm very happy to meet my mom see the Pope even if I booked this only a day before our tour. Never hesitate to ask the guide any questions to make the most out of your experience!

Overall, it was a positive experience. We arrived on time and quickly obtained our tickets before being escorted into Vatican City. Tips: - Upon entering the gates, you will be directed to a shop. I suggest shopping at the official Vatican store where items are blessed by Vatican priests and prices are more reasonable. - Secure a seat near the front and then move quickly to the back where the Pope's motorcade will pass closely. Stand as close to the wall as possible. After the Pope passes, return to your seat near the front center.

It was great but trying to look for our group was a hussle.We were at the meeting place @7:20 a little late for 7:15 meet up before 7:30a ,we could not find our group.We were at the Cafe @7:20 and group was there anymore,otherwise it was great to personally see the Pope.

Aside from the crowds, and having to go out after the papal audience to meet the guide for the tour and go through security & queueing again, it was wonderful! Our guide was fantastic & very knowledgeable. The Basilica is truly a site to behold! So very thankful my son & I were able to go!

Got a really good seat to view Pope closely. The tour guide was very good and patient with each tourist. He was very respectful.

The ticket for the papal audience worked really well. The guided tour of the basilica in English was also really interesting!

Carmelo was excellent, was on time, very friendly and patient, I was traveling with my mom, she had a leg injury and he waited patiently for us. He explained clear and the moment very special! I highly recommend it. Thank you

The fact that a well-informed guide directed us and explained the different parts we visited was the strongest point for us. Except that we should reconsider the possibility of giving priority to those who have paid so as not to remain in the crowd for long. It makes you tired before going on the tour. Thank you

Seeing the pope without the stress of getting in long line.

It was amazing. Our tour guide got us seats right at the barricade where the pope mobile came right by us!!!
