Amsterdam Light Festival Canal Cruise

Long queue but worth the wait. Great experience overall in a warm boat. Very cool artwork in the lightshow along the lovely canals of Amsterdam. Got to meet a few people on the ride along the way too

Very nice cruise, too bad that some explanations, the ones given by the helmsman ( very nice) were in English... instead we had headphones to listen in Italian to the other general explanations about the city.. anyway I recommend it

The light festival is a wonderful experience because it combines the beauty of the city as seen from the water with particularly beautiful light installations. Highly recommend.

Nice cruise, but being completely enclosed, with small windows and rainy weather, the view of the Festival of Lights is far from perfect.

The trip started on time and the ship was pleasantly warm. During the trip, we were told something about the light objects in Dutch and English. The trip was great. Thank you very much

The experience is beautiful but unfortunately the windows were fogged up and you could see very little also not all content was available in Italian

It was a long, but nice cruise. The skipper told quite a bit extra and made it fun. Because it was so crowded it took longer only we enjoyed the light art and everything around us.

You are asked to choose a time when booking, which is not respected on site as we had to wait 1 hour in 3 degrees!!!! And when we pointed this out to the staff, we were told that it was very busy !!!! What's more, the audio guide was half French and half English!

The most comfortable way to see the light installations of the Light Festival, where you don't get wet even in light rain. It's just a shame that the audio guide didn't work in the open rear area of the boat.

It was nice to hear the excursion in earfones. But there was a mix Rusdian with Englisg. Not everyone of my friends undersyands English. All the light skulptures were interesting. But not all of them was posdible to see if your place is in the midfle of a boat. Is it possible to see the film about such light shows for 13 years of this festival?

I didn't know Amsterdam had anything like a Light festival. The explanation of the artworks gave a better idea of what the artist had in mind. What was less was that the boarding of the boat was a bit unclear and that we sailed backwards, so we got a stiff neck. May not spoil the fun.... My father has a hearing aid and therefore the headphones did not work well. Perhaps offer a separate channel for them.

An evening cruise through Amsterdam's canals is beautiful and highly recommended. The Festival of Light installations/exhibits are also extremely interesting. We liked the responsible, but also humorous, manner of our captain!

It was a bad time for us, as it was a rainy evening, the inside of the boat was very foggy and visibility of the works was not great. What's more, the explanations on the audioguide were only half-translated into French, the other half being in English.

The overall experience was good. The only thing we missed was that the explanation was in several languages or that we could have access to some kind of translation.

Nice and instructive. Too bad we weren't all on the right side of the boat.
