Oskar Schindler’s Factory & Ghetto Guided Tour

Our tour guide was very informative and pleasant. We used headsets but thankfully rarely needed them. The museum is about what poland was like during the war. Great knowledge and displays created this visual awareness and sense. Lots to take in.

Our guide around Schindler's factory was extremely knowledgeable which made the tour very interesting. We felt that there were too many in the group which made it difficult for us all to get in some rooms together. The nature of the building lends itself to smaller groups. We went on the Ghetto tour with the same guide and found the tour extremely interesting and thought provoking.

Very informative and gut-wrenching. I appreciated getting to walk around the Old Jewish Ghetto afterwards. The Chairs in the Square were particularly haunting and affective.

The tour of the factory and the former Jewish ghetto was very interesting, the guide Agnieszska masterfully and passionately led us through the history of the places we visited, part of Krakow, and it was exciting.

The guided tour of the Museum was very interesting. It was less crowded than Auschwitz and the Salt Mine, and the tour group was smaller (there were 10 of us). The explanations given by our guide, Margot , were very clear and helped us to better understand the content on display. Please note, however, that this is not a museum about Schindler alone, but rather about the history of Krakow's Jews, which in no way detracts from the interest of the visit, which allows us to understand the context of Schindler's List. I recommend watching Spielberg's film again before the visit. For the visit to the ghetto after the Museum, we were lucky enough to be the only ones with my partner to go on. Margot showed us in town what we wouldn't have seen on our own, and her explanations and our exchanges were rich. Many thanks to her!

Thanks to our guide Margot! 5 hours of total immersion in Jewish culture. There were only 2 of us for the tour of the Jewish Quarter and Ghetto, which made it all the more interesting.

Magda did an absolutely wonderful job. She spoke clearly, was very knowledgeable on the history, and was pleasant to be around. I could not recommend her more. 10/10!

Very well prepared museum, which is not only about the former Schindler factory and Oscar Schindler himself, but also about the expulsion, exploitation and extermination of the Jews in Krakow during the Second World War. You need time to see everything and a bit of patience, as the museum is very small and usually very busy.

Considering that it is a tour into the dark history of Germany, the experience was very revealing and up close. I don't want to mention the words "nice" and "liked" here. Rather "bad that something like this happened" and "unfortunately people still don't learn from it". The organization via Headout was perfect and the on-site support from the guide was also very good. The private tour of the former ghetto (no one else had booked it) was therefore very, very interesting and informative. What should be mentioned is the fact that there are very unfavorable parking conditions. Please allow plenty of time to find a parking space. We were lucky because we found a parking space in a side street of a construction site. Take a look in the alleys.... There is no parking garage...

It was a very nice experience 👍 The tour guide made it very interesting. A lot from stories of other people, who have experienced this themselves or have been told, as their own short stories integrated into the tour. Highly recommended 👍

Experience was informative the only downside to the day was the fact that while we were in a guided tour other people were on their own and was walking past us as well as talking which was disconcerting while trying to listen to the guide. As always time is a issue and it felt a bit rushed. But the guide was really good and made the day really enjoyable

The whole tour from start to finish was excellent. For the Jewish quarter part of the tour, it was just us and 1 other person so it was brilliant being able to walk around as a small group. The tour around Schindler's Factory was great, even with a much bigger group. Using the earpieces we were able to clearly hear the tour guide. We then finished the tour with just us and our guide around the ghetto. Phil was a fantastic guide - incredibly personable and extremely knowledgeable. He spoke really clearly and was easy to understand. It's a long tour, but the time flew by and also included a 20 minute coffee break. We would definitely recommend.

Very interesting visit to the evolution of Poland. You become aware of many things. Pictures and clear explanations.

I believe the guide was probably very knowledgeable but unfortunately we struggled to understand a lot of what was being said as his first language wasn't English. Also, although no fault of the guide, the museum allowed too many visitors and tours in at one time. This resulted in us feeling a bit rushed and unable to spend time reading a lit of the exhibit information. We ended up not going onto the ghetto tour after the factory because of this. This made us feel a bit let down.

Despite a very busy period and a late start to the tour, our guide Margot was extremely helpful and professional in understanding the various political, economic and moral aspects of this dark period in history. Thanks again for all her pertinent comments.
