Big Bus: Munich Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour

Loved the route, we had a nice time, however, some on our bus didn't get headphones, the pick up times weren't clear, so we waited in the cold for almost an hour, we did others. Instructions weren't very clear.

Both the green and orange routes were very practical for getting to the most important points. Everything important was mentioned briefly and concisely, great.

the audio did not match the sights we were seeing. it was automated and not done well. I would prefer a live guide and even a higher price for this reason. also the time were approximate and not great in terms of the 30 mins at each stop. because it was not frequent, that limited the amount of stops we could make and still get back on time.

Comfortable busses and frequent service Good English audio- although it should be synchronized a bit better for traffic related mismatch

The bus drivers aren't all nice people. One almost told us to fuck off as we wanted to hop on his bus, but he said he was on his break. How could we possibly know.... if they're fed up of seeing people, they should change job

Location of pick up. Routes were great, plenty of busses (we didn't wait long at any stop), easy to book, great audio information on the way round. Booked 48hour tickets via headout and it was cheaper than the on the day ticket.

Getting around the city with a tourist bus is a very good way to get to know the city. The problem we had was that in one of the lines one of the stops had been eliminated so a part of the city was not connected. In addition, the ticket is sold as 24 or 48 hours of use but it is really only active between 10 am and 5 pm so the hours are much less.

Great over view, only thing was narrator talk about building that were hard to see. Would be better to have a real person on bus

The first bus we got onto was great! The second was also okay, but the driver accelarated and deccelarated too quickly for comfort, particularly with the kids on board; they were literally bouncing this way and then this, to the point that I felt better buckling them down. A tour drive shouldn't bounce you in your chair, but rather leave you free to look around, and point at all the beautiful attractions around. One last point: it wasn't properly communicated to us that the bus will skip the Odeonplatz stop; I still don't know why that happened.

We booked the 48 hour two-line (orange and green) tour. On day 1 we rode the orange line getting off at Nymphenburg palace and the Olympic Village. I think due to traffic the narration was not always in sync plus the bus skipped the English garden stop and did not seem to follow the printed route at times. . On the 2nd day we rode the green line. The narration was more in sync, but the route skipped one stop by the Deutch museum. Overall it was a good value and good experience.

Very well communicated, I got off and on in any area of the city, I took the 48 hours, and in two days I visited everything making stops and entering the museums and parks, every 20 minutes so for one, I recommend it and very good treatment by the staff.

It was very good experience I booked it online with discount,the price was reasonable. I had only 6 hours in Munich,so it was so worthy tour to find out about Munich in short time. The bus is okay, the tour, the driver . So it worth if you have a few time to discover the city

What did I did NOT love: We bought the ticket online and got a QR in the phone. We boarded de blue line and then the driver gave a paper receipt (?) We change to the green line and the driver was asking for our ticket.. so we showed the QR code. He said the system ws down and he needed the paper ticket.. and left us standing in the street! We said we did not have one.. by chance I got the paper "receipt".. that was the perper ticket!. You see these days you have all in your phone,, specially when you travel your air ticket is the phone, etc. If your system is down the you need to do an exception and see the Qr in the customer phone and don't leave them standing in the street!

Very good experience, but a forward schedule of times at each station would be a plus. Problems with headphones sometimes.

It is a good way to see many of the attractions of the city over a day then plan to go back to most interesting for you if you do not have time enough.

Being able to get to know the city and its history, all with a very well-designed and signposted route.

The bus did get an accident what can happens but it took longer than 30 min before there was something communicated
