Excellent day favored by very few people in the museum and of only 6 components with the 'archaeologist who was able to give us and explain the best of the museum very professional friendly
and helpful to our questions
I think an extra 30 minutes or so would have been appreciated overall given the vastness of the material on display
But this is to blame for the tour operetor

Our ticketing experience was good, especially since it was a bit last minute. The Naples Archeological Museum was amazing and Adella did an excellant job conveying stories and the history of the artifacts. Pompeii finnally came out of a book for us. We always get so much more out of the experience when we explore with a local instead of doing a self guided tour. Thank you!

I wasn't however aware that in addition to the tour I would have to buy an entrance ticket. This I feel should have been made clearer
The tour leader was very helpful and knowledgeable and made our visit to the museum more enjoyable

Maria was a phenomenal tour guide, explaining the meaning and history behind the various statues, paintings, and frescoes. I booked this inside three days, and was glad I did! I spent an additional two hours after the tour, so the included entry fee was well worth it.

Our guide understood we were all exhausted as the tour was at 3pm and it was Italian Independece day adxwehadall been walking heaps. . She explained the history well and took us to the most meaningful things relating to Pompeii and Herculaneum. Very informative and interesting. She did an excellent job!
