Zermatt: Matterhorn Glacier Paradise Round-Trip Cable Car Ticket

It was a fun experience, going up in the cable car and seeing all the skiers skiing. It was beautiful all the way up and especially at the top. We got dizzy and had a hard time breathing once we got off the cable car and started walking around up there. We are in our 50's and healthy and active so I was surprised how bad we felt. We should have drank water on the way up that may have helped. With that being said we still highly recommended! It was a little expensive but I know it costs alot to keep up with maintenance. We had a long line to wait in going up with all the skiers trying to get up too... we felt like a herd of cattle inching our way along... when we came back down there were no lines. My suggestion is to wait until about noon to go up to avoid lines. Also the lines were a little chaotic... tons of people trying to push their way to the front without any order it seemed. If you didn't continue to keep up you would never make it the front of the line. They need to have better organization with the lines when it's busy. It was an experience we will never forget. It was a great way to finish up our 18 day European vacation! We loved the little village of Zermatt and hope to return someday!

The ice cave was closed and the crystal ride was closed and the big gondolas were closed at the start. The Matterhorn was great but my wife and I wanted to see ice caves and do crystal ride and that was not disclosed when I bought the tickets. Also the directions to getting the tickets in the application are not correct and goes to a empty building.

There was no entry to the event. It was canceled. The company said that the weather conditions didn't support the climb. It even said that the money had been returned to the headout. I request a refund. I'll let you know in advance and open a chargeback request

The experience itself was amazing. The customer service where we had to collect tickets was appalling, the lady was so rude and unfriendly. I'm so glad our excitement did not allow her attitude to dampen our excitedness. Also, the ice cave we feel had a damp/mould issue? Something was not right in there we believe as we came out unusually out of breath just walking up the short ramp to the elevator as we also witnessed other visitors in the same position.

We had a perfect weather. Sunny and calm. The cable car took us up to 3883 m where the view of the surrounding mountains and glaciers is stunning. Also, the glacier tunnel and ice sculptures are very interesting and beautiful. It was easy to pick up the tickets from the cable car station.

It met my expectations, incomparable experience. It is also the only place I found where they sell the tickets as well as buying them physically.

The weather cleared just for that day, not enough to see Matterhorn but the it was fantastic. We are from northern Australia so to stand in a snowfall and go into a ice cave under a glacier, just out standing memories.

It was an amazing and unique experience. I can't recommend it enough.
