Panoptikum + Hamburg River Cruise

I was totally thrilled - I have rarely experienced such a very entertaining and informative harbor tour! In the 1 hour I got great insider knowledge about the most important spots in Hamburg and often laughed heartily - definitely recommended!

Despite the inclement weather, it was a wonderful way to discover Hamburg via its estuary.

It was perfect! Great to hear the stories (in German) about the buildings and the ships.

I enjoyed the port visit and the tour, which was very comprehensive. However, it was very cold because of the wind and the captain talked too much into the microphone. He said a lot of useless things.

What i didn't love: the time mentioned on the ticket (11.30) was incorrect. The boat was leaving at 11.15. And they react as if we were wrong. Not nice!!!

Excellent staff on board. Need more signage on docks. App for English speakers is glitchy. Must restart several times on the cruise.

The funny comments from the captain!!! It was too crowded and therefore our seats were not so good and comfortable. Overall we had a fun trip.

The ride itself was okay - the speaker was not always easy to understand - finding the departure point was time-consuming, cumbersome - a cheek

Enjoyed the boat tour, but the cruise that included the Speicherstadt, although booked, was not there and we had to take the cruise that included Blankeneese. Interesting, but it was not the one we chose.

It's a shame we didn't have an audio guide as soon as we got on the boat. The guide spoke only in German, which sounded very interesting and funny, but far too fast for people who don't speak the language... It's even more of a shame that the discovery of the city and port was visually brilliant.

The captain commented on the tour in an informative and very humorous way, we saw and learned a lot. He obviously enjoyed his job and knew a lot about the port of Hamburg. Great!

There could have been a bit more narrative. The tour was meant to be a bit of fun, of course, but a little more information would have been nice.

Condensed, but very well conveyed impression of the main sights of the port and the Speicherstadt; the accompanying verbal explanations of the "tour guide" were presented in a relaxed, funny and very informative way.

The tour was very interesting and lived up to our expectations. It's a pity there's no possibility of translation into French (because even for fluent German speakers like us, not everything was understandable), at least for the more traditional commentaries (via headphones, for example), which wouldn't prevent the driver from adding his personal touch! Fair price.

The exhibits were very realistic. We particularly liked "Otto" because he was depicted in his typical pose. The idea for a photo with "Helmut Schmitt" was particularly good. The space for the exhibits is very small overall, so the rating is good.
