Belém Tower Tickets

Beautiful Jeronimos Monastery. The waiting time was adequate. On the other hand for the Belém Tower (being an untimed reservation), it was very long. But it is worth a visit

I wish it was explained before that we would need to pickup our card at a certain location, they made it seem like we would just have them on the app. Also I would have liked a map that showed where the museums and sites were located and what buses were available to get to them. Navigating became difficult and we were not able to get the most out of the card. Almost doesn't seem worth it, especially since as a family we could have gotten discounts at most sites without the Lisboa card

Impossible to buy day tickets. We should have our tickets online and accessible on our cell phone without having to walk miles to go to a metro station to buy them.

We went at 1pm on a very sunny November Tuesday. There was at least 1h wait time. No thanks! We went to Cascais instead and came back the day after at 3.30pm. (We at 2pm tickets for the Tuesday but they were valid for 2/3 weeks, what's the point?!). It was overcast so we were ready to be in line for a while (less hot!) but no line at all! Yeah! It was not crowded, it took us a little more than 30mins to visit (only the cloister, church was closed). In my opinion, it was worth coming back for (beautiful ❤️) but not worth being in line 1h++ for. They have a pretty bad system - they could have time slots like in many touristic places, this would be way more efficient

The site is beautiful. Staff very nice. The timed entry ticket is a farce. Ours was for 9:30. Got in at 10:15 after all the groups tours got in first.

The purchase was very easy, but we couldn't get into the Belem tower because the tide was too high. Can we be reimbursed?

Great place beautiful tower from outside and very nice inside as well, about an hour wait to get in, I thought a little more inside however it's always a great sight to see.

Zero waiting time, we were able to get into the tower when we thought it was impossible. We fell on the right day

The site is magnificent! However, we had to queue for over an hour even though we already had our tickets...

The queue to visit is too long In the monastery, you can't even enjoy the spirituality of the place by sitting in silence on the stones or in the gardens as you used to. And in Belém the queue is too long

I loved the card, was just a bit worried about the time wtitten on the electronic WhatsApp message which statec that I purchased the card much earlier than I actually did. Once I got the physical card and asked around how it works all was perfect.

The price is high for the few areas to visit, the waiting time is very long and it's impossible to visit the church. The monastery is, however, very beautiful.

A magnificent place, nothing to complain about. However, there should be timetable slots so that we don't have to queue with no estimated waiting time. And the visit to the church is free.

Fast and correct booking. I received the tickets within 5 minutes. It was the only option to visit the Belem tower in the afternoon.

We loved the monastery but the queues to get in to both the monastery and the tower were well over an hour. If we buy a ticket online with timed entry we don't expect to then have to queue anyway. If we had known we would have to queue for over an hour for the tower, we would not have bought a ticket.

The Belém Tower and Jerónimos Monastery are absolutely stunning! I would definitely recommend getting there early as the lines do get very, very long. Getting our tickets through headcount was so easy and clear! The Monastery is very close to the best pastel de nata that we had in Portugal! Go to Pasteis de Belém!!!

The 2 sites are exceptional and well worth a visit, but waiting times are far too long and booking online is useless!

I really liked the castle and the view, but I was standing for 1 hour in the sun. something could be put in to improve the wait

Belem Tower - waited in a queue for over an hour and then further queues inside to climb the tower. Very little information within the tower and whilst we got some good photos, it was not worth the price or the wait. The Monastery queue moved a lot quicker and as we missed our time slot due to the Belem Tower queue, it was later in the day so it was smaller. Again, some interesting architecture but wouldn't recommend waiting for hours.

Venue is lovely but I don't understand the point of pretending and selling timed tickets and then ignoring them completely? If you don't pay attention to times - be truthful. It would be respectful of your visitors and allow them to better plan their time. I do my best to respect the rules and guidelines established by the places I visit and usually receive similar.
