We had a great experience visiting for the first time the great Basilica St Peter. We had an amazing guide, her name is Alexandra from Best Tour and we recommend her 100%. She managed to give life to everything by telling stories and facts about the whole Basilica. We can not imagine this experience without a guide like her.

Visit of February 4, 2025: I'd like to take the time to write this review because the visit I had to St. Peter's Basilica in the "Vatican" and (not Rome ^^) was one of my favorites that I've done all-Time. Indeed, a big big up to the guide I'll always remember, Federico, who was incredible, making the experience immersive and unique for me and my 2 other friends, who aren't much into guided tours and aren't too interested in history. I imagine the impression was the same for the other people who had taken part in the tour. We had selected a tour in French, and Federico frankly blew us away with his level of French, which I find charming and captivating. This tour was unique, and he made us feel privileged in that he gave us funny but important anecdotes that all the other guides didn't have at all, given that he had worked for a long time as a guide at the basilica. Funny, cultured and amusing, there's no shortage of superlatives to describe this guide, who impressed me: as a guide myself at the Louvre, Orsay, Château de Versailles and other monuments in Paris, I was so proud and happy to attend his visit, since his acting and information alone enhance and elevate our profession as guides. What's more, thanks to his contacts and friendliness with his colleagues at the Basilica, he got us to the places we wanted to visit much more quickly, and avoided us waiting in line in many places: at the security checkpoint, then access to the church and many other places besides. He told us at the start of the tour that he didn't consider himself to be the best guide to the Vatican and Rome, but I'm not afraid to say that there aren't any better than him at the moment, and even in France he'd outrank quite a few. There are a lot of photos, but here are just a few of those taken during our visit, and of Federico, who was a wonderful guide. Thank you to the agency for giving us this guide. The experience itself was good, but the guide did not speak Spanish clearly, a lot of mixture between Italian and Spanish which made it difficult for us to understand, but we still managed to understand something.

Lovely tour of the Museum and Sistine Chapel. Very knowledgeable guide who explained all the ins-and-outs in a fun and interesting way. Well worth booking this activity!

The tour was absolutely amazing, my english speaking guide Kelly was incredible. I would recommend her as guide, her warm welcoming approach to everyone had the entire group captivated by her vast knowledge of the tour. Her love towards such history really made you feel the true beauty of what the tour had to offer. ❤️🙏

The meeting point is easy to find; you need to enter the store and go to the first floor. Then the guide meets you right in front of the store. Everything is well-organized, making the start of the tour stress-free. Our guide, an amazing lady, was almost like an athlete—walking fast and never resting. She was incredibly knowledgeable and gave us excellent explanations throughout the tour. We walked around the outside of the Vatican to enter the museum, and while everything went smoothly, I would suggest starting the tour directly in front of the museum instead. This would save a lot of time and energy, as walking all the way there is quite tiring, especially considering the many hours of walking required inside the museum. The Vatican itself is absolutely incredible. The art, architecture, and history are breathtaking and leave you in awe. I’ve been there before, and it never gets old—I’ll definitely visit again. At the end of the museum tour, we had the opportunity to visit St. Peter’s Basilica, which was the perfect way to conclude the experience. Overall, it was an amazing tour with a fantastic guide and an excellent company. Highly recommended!

Our guide was just amazing, she was so passionate about everything she talked about. She interacted with us so well and answered all our questions. I would highly recommend going with a guide as I think if we went alone we just wouldn't have understood a lot of what we were looking at

We were lucky to be in a very small group (4). We had a top-notch guide, Federico. We didn't have to wait very long to get into the Vatican, the Basilica, the grotto... Access to the panoramic view of Rome from the Duomo.

We met our group at the meeting place and went straight in, no queues. Our guide, Francesca was lovely and very knowledgeable about the history of the Vatican, artists and Catholicism. We found it very interesting but also entertaining. When we finished the tour we felt very satisfied with the experience and would recommend to our friends.

There were so many exciting things I enjoyed about the tour. First and foremost our tour guide was awesome. She was witty, knowledgeable and patient. I believe we had about 16 persons in the group. The fact that we were there during first weeks of Jubilee the crowds were full force. She managed the group well. Next the amount of information was so well, we had opportunity to ask questions. The location is stellar! I grew up in the Catholic faith so touring the Vatican City, St Peters Cathedral, climbing the dome was absolutely breath taking. I would recommend this tour hands down. Next time I will likely take a smaller group tour for more one on one with the guide. Happy New Year to ALL!!

I made a review earlier but I just wanted to add that the only downside was that we couldn't see the School of Athens it was closed or something and we were unlucky 😭 But the lucky part was that this trip doesn't include the St Peters Basilica, but the guide was able to lead us to the entrance to the Basilica through the Sistine Chapel! We went through the Holy Doors, open only every 25 years for Jubilee, so we were lucky!!

Of course, St. Peter's Basilica is impressive in itself, but the guide was at least as impressive. She told very vividly about conditions in and around the church, conditions you don't have a chance to know on your own. She also came up with interesting observations about life and death in connection with the sculptures commemorating the popes, and knew quite a bit about the people behind the basilica. I have forgotten her name, but would like to recommend her as an English speaking guide.

Our guide Fabrizio was with historical education, local guy, who got his knowledge directly from Vatican when studying. Very interesting facts he told was not known by my friend who visited twice already Vatican. So I really appreciate his tour and him as funny interesting and intelligent guide. About the tour was everything in time, well organized, and within declared tour like on website. Highly recommend
