The staff was very helpful (they allowed us to enter even though we were late for our visit), the castle is well-kept, and the gardens are very well maintained, filled with exotic plant species

The tickets are very easy to get in and out. The palace amazing outside, inside along with the gardens. Better than I imagined. I came away very satisfied.

We liked the crazy colorful uniqueness of the Pena Palace. There were long lines but the site was so well organized everyone moved along well. We arrived at 10:30, having taken Uber from Lisbon right to the gate where the buses that go up are located. The morning fog had burned off showing bright blue sky. This truly is a site not to be missed.

The only thing that needs to be done is to warn you that you can't see anything when you climb up to the cross because the trees are so high. I'd have preferred to know that before going up 😀

It's a bit of a hike to the palace but it's breathtakingly beautiful! so glad I was able to experience. If you want to visit the gift shop and be able to take the bus be sure to exit the palace before 6pm.

Being able to take the tickets from home is a good idea as well as the bus that they put you to go up to the palace. The monuments of Sintra are spectacular, different from those of other world heritage cities. Both the palace and the Regaleira are spectacular and the audio guide helps to know the history of these wonderful monuments.

The bus ride from the station to the park is highly recommended due to the route and inclines. In the park itself, you can enjoy nature and the surroundings on the walk to the palace. You can explore the palace independently on a tour at a set time. Very beautiful exhibits and restorations. A successful excursion despite the mystical weather...

The palace is beautiful outside. Climb there tireing but worth it. Maybe picked bad day as on mondays many attractions are closed in lisbon. Many people come from there to sintra. Buying tickets was easy 👌

Pena Palace is a bucket list destination, but the huge crowds make it a bit of a turn off. Shuffled from room to room, long lines, not my idea of fun. It's beautiful, but over rated. The grounds are lovely. I found the National Palace more interesting, less crowded.

Excelente experiencia junto a la familia. Esperaba más de las estancias reales y visita dentro del palacio. Por la parte exterior demasiado desolado, no había detalles. La cafetería fatal

Buying the tickets online was great snd straight forward, downloading the app to get the tickets so that we could present them on our mobile phone at the gate for entry was perfect. Only thing abit confusing was with the parking, we drove up to the higher car parking area but wasn't sure if at right place, and where transfer bus to castle was, we ended up walking the 20mins to Castle entry the bus was at another entry point which would not even be 10mins for an abled walking person to reach. Amazing views and incredible architecture in a beautiful park setting.

Pena Palace is beatiful. And it was very useful during the ticketing to see more options because without any prelimenary knowledge we didn't know before there is a transfer. Also I didn't know that why is it a good options. But during our visit there was a "monsun style" rainy day with high wind. So that checked entry ticket with tranfer was very helpful.

Beautiful view of the Palace and the park, easy to access by train from city center Lisbon and 434 bus to get to the view point. Worth to go there plan a day for...

The impressive and cultural visit to the aquarium, with my grandson
