Ruakuri Cave Guided Tour

Our guide Kaiser was excellent as he led us through the Ruakuri cave system which was stellar and I would recommend the tour through these absolutely amazing caves. Well worth the money.

I exited to blue lighting from grow worms and fossil. I enjoyed cave tour and guide man's nice joke. It's so easy to get a ticket.

Our tour guide Garf was absolutly lovely and told us so many amazing things. He encouraged us to ask questions and was happy to answere them as well. On top of that we had the luck to be only two people so we really could take our time!

Our tour guide Webarakato- not sure how to spell his name but his historical and indigenous knowledge was very much interesting AND the ticket lady was lovely as we had booked for an hour and half session at 11:30 but she squeezed us in for the 11am tour so all in all a very successful and memorable day !

The guide was very knowledgeable, but low key which made the tour relaxing and very enjoyable. It would have been helpful if you had made it clear when we bought the tickets where we needed to go. We first went to the Waitomo Caves because we didn't we had to go a separate location.

Small tour size, awesome cave, awesome guides. The guide knew so much, was so friendly, and really enjoyed taking us through the cave.

We had the loveliest tour guide show us through the caves and glowworm experience. He was very informative, lots of fun and I it was very interesting. I would recommend this tour for all age groups it's easily accessible and although being slightly clastaphobic I did not feel it at all on this tour, so go for it people

The overall experience was awsome. First of all the ticketing process went without a hitch and the phone app worked as expected. The cave experience was out of this world. The tour guide was so informative and we learned a lot about the workings of a cave and the life cycle of the glow worms.

Tour was well organised and a good experience but the guide was from Wales - he was not a Maori guide as advertised. He was quite good but not what was promised .

The Guide Lee was really good an tikd us a Lot of Background Informations. And the Glow-Worms are so cute 😁 and the cave is amazing . We loved the Tour. Take Always a Jacket with you ☺️

The tour and the cave were really nice and our guide knowledable and friendly. I didn`t rate "awesome" because it wasn't clear to me out of the information of your homepage that the glowworm-part would be relativly small, I had expected a larger glowworm-experience.

We visited the Ruakuri Caves and they are speculator. Hayley was our guide and she did a wonderful job. Will visit again and recommend family and friends to visit.

Passionated guide and a wonderfull experience to see all these glowworms. Also the cave was beautifull with enough time to make some pictures.
