São Jorge Castle Tickets

The castle is a great place to visit with it's structure, history and view of Lisbon. Everything is well marked. I highly recommend a visit.

The experience is not to be missed. The castle is in very good condition. The tour is super enjoyable. The views of the city incredible. Highly recommended.

The views of Lisbon from the castle made it worth the ticket. Be prepared for walking over uneven cobblestone and steps though.

The views from the castle were amazing. Would absolutely love to go again on a day with better weather to see the sunset.

The attraction was lovely, well worth the visit. Suggest people take transport to there as the steps through the City were arduous!! Unfortunately the ticket office staff were on strike so the only option was online booking, however, this was quite easy to do. Definitely recommend the venue.

Tickets were booked within a minute while those in line for the box office had to wait up to an hour. Beautiful castle and view, definitely worth seeing during a visit to Lisbon.

The rooms were gorgeous, as is the electric exterior. The audio didn't work. The line at the entry front was chaotic, very crowed in beginning of tour & when there were route options it thinned out. Loved the hung room, and terraces & views of courtyard. We hiked up from the train station, a clear route marker along the way would be helpful. We walked to the old fort after castle.

Walking on the top of the castle walls and the patio with the trees and the view. I am glad I bought my tickets ahead and did not need to stand in the long line

The purchase of the ticket was very easy and, in addition, they give you a small percentage discount for having bought another ticket before. And the castle is wonderful, all very nice, beautiful views. And the free audio guide they offer in the castle is very good.

Beautiful restoration but you have to deserve the views and not be afraid of heights as there are many steps to go up and down... beware of young children no safety barriers

The structure and the historical part of the castle are very interesting. The view of Lisbon from the top is beautiful. However, the museum is very simple and the site doesn't offer much historical information about the castle and what happened in it.

Ticketing was easy and enabled us to not have to wait in a queue to visit. Great views of the city. Don't both to eat at the cafe inside, the views are good, but the service is poor.

São Jorge Castle is amazing, well preserved and with an astonishing panoramic view of Lisbon. Visiting all of it will require almost 2 hours, so take your time and enjoy being inside an ancient Castle! Walk through its arches and upstairs its towers or just refresh under secular trees. Don't miss the chance of trying "Camera Obscura", guides are knowledgeable and speak both portuguese and english. Suitable also for families with young children and stroller.

The castle is great. Indoor part has a most areas accessible. You can go to the towers also and climb the outer wall. Outside the Lisbon view is great too. There is a place where every 20 min there is a panoramic view shown of the city don't for get to do that. We didn't know till we saw a line up

Really simple website to use, made our experience really great as we then didn't have to queue up in the sun and could go straight in. Had a great time at the actual castle, it's beautiful and definitely worth the visit.

Excellent day at the Castle! An impressive work. I consider that it should have more explanatory posters of each area of the castle.

It was an unexpected beautiful spot, with a great view to Lisbon, with the cute and so friendly peacocks walking around the territory.

I enjoyed the beautiful views of the city and water. The peacocks were a sight to behold and the wind sweeping over the walls made it as comfortable to walk about even in hot weather.
