Castel Sant'Angelo Guided Tour

Our guide Agnese was professional, very fun and adapted to our level of pre-existing knowledge of Rome's history. We learned so much and the Castel is beautiful! Highly recommend!!

There was only the option of an English-speaking guide for the date I had available, but on the tour of Castel Sant Angelo the guide gave the tour in Italian, a ten for her. And St. Peter's Basilica, the same thing with Martinho da Silva, congratulations to the agencies and their guides.

Our guide was knowledgeable and pleasant the tour was small so the guide answered all the questions we had, well worth the time and money!

The guide Matteo did a fantastic job of explaining the history of the castle and the symbolism of the art work throughout the castle

This was a last minute add but I would recommend people add it to their sights to see. Our tour guild was awesome and I was fascinated by the original structure and subsequent addition to the top. I would highly recommend this tour!

The tour of the mysterious castle near the Vatican was great. The guide was enthusiastic and told great stories about the history of the castle. That history was incredible and in fact an unprecedented exciting story. So a must visit. And a top-notch guide!

Our guide was very informative and divulged so much interesting information during our visit. Sad to say, I can't remember her name, but she kept our visit extremely interesting. A bit of a bummer that our visit was rescheduled from noon until 3:00pm as we had another tour scheduled at 5:00 which left us in a scurry to leave, which is no fault of our guide. We loved her and her enthusiasm!!

The Express Guided Tour, which I chose to go with, is an excellent choice for someone who doesn't have the time for the full one. I felt like I got the most important bits of history and information about the place, plus after the tour, I was free to remain there however long I wanted with the official paper map of the place with all available rooms to visit shown on it, so I could just walk and speed through those room if I wanted (which I did). Of course, access to the terrace was also free to enter for me. The tour guide (Alec, like "Baldwin") was easy to find, professional, well-prepared and knowledgable, and just a proper lad. Thanks for the tour.

Exhaustive tour of Castel Sant'Angelo thanks to a more than perfect Guide named Martina, who was very professional, kind and friendly. We were very well and comfortable, being able to take an excursus of the main stages of Roman history, focusing on the phases that most influenced Castel Sant'Angelo. So overall the visit was very much to our liking, but if possible I would recommend including a visit to the Passetto so we can have a more complete experience.

Ticketing was very user friendly! Our tour guides were exceptional! Definitely two of our favorite experiences in this wonderful city! Keep up the good work!
