Castel Sant’Angelo Express Guided Tour

Our guide Agnese was professional, very fun and adapted to our level of pre-existing knowledge of Rome's history. We learned so much and the Castel is beautiful! Highly recommend!!

Our guide was very informative and divulged so much interesting information during our visit. Sad to say, I can't remember her name, but she kept our visit extremely interesting. A bit of a bummer that our visit was rescheduled from noon until 3:00pm as we had another tour scheduled at 5:00 which left us in a scurry to leave, which is no fault of our guide. We loved her and her enthusiasm!!

The Express Guided Tour, which I chose to go with, is an excellent choice for someone who doesn't have the time for the full one. I felt like I got the most important bits of history and information about the place, plus after the tour, I was free to remain there however long I wanted with the official paper map of the place with all available rooms to visit shown on it, so I could just walk and speed through those room if I wanted (which I did). Of course, access to the terrace was also free to enter for me. The tour guide (Alec, like "Baldwin") was easy to find, professional, well-prepared and knowledgable, and just a proper lad. Thanks for the tour.

Our guide Alec (English speaking on the day before Xmas at 3pm) was very knowledgeable, funny, entertaining, and easy to follow through the history of Rome and castel of saint angels. He answered all our questions, paid attention to the details that became very memorable for us. He spoke clearly so even non-native speakers and kids understood him. Thank you Alec!!

Alec was great! He guided us through Castel Sant'Angelo using simple language and everyday examples. He has a pleasant voice and the audio equipment was OK. He responded to individual questions and answered them very well.

It was good, we started on time with a headset. Agnus the guide was knowledgeable and was very engaging. In the end of the tour we felt like we completed all there was to do in the castle, and it was really fun.

Mattia had excellent knowledge of Castle and its phases and who was involved with its transitions. He told great stories and was very passionate about the subject.
