Istanbul Bosphorus Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour

Great tour to get your bearings. Buying tickets online was a nightmare as I couldn't access the QR code without internet ( despite downloading the Headout app) . It would have been easier to pay at the bus stop!

Best way to explore istanbul city sightseeing and hop on hop off

Almost everything was very good, the only problem we had was that the headphones gave small electric shocks so it was uncomfortable to use them at times.

The experience ws ok, but audio wasn't as informative as Hop-On Hop-Off tours I have done in other cities. No anecdotal commentary on the country's culture and people. No announcements for "get off here to see X, Y, Z", etc.

Everything went smoothly from booking to the experience. We always try to do the Hop-on Hop-off bus in every new city to get an overview. Istanbul did not disappoint.

the tour was interesting having included all the highlights of the city. Also, I must say that I appreciated the helpfulness ON THE PLACE of accepting my ticket that erroneously I had purchased with a date prior to my arrival. Veramehte very kind

Saw a lot of the city and commentary very informative. Only negative was the bus at 10 am had a problem and next one was one and a half hours later. A good way to see main sights of Istanbul

A lot of waiting - timetables listed were not adheared to, which required us to spend a lot of money on an uber from the Asia side to get back rather than wait in the side of the road for one hour. The mentioned boat tour that was included did not exist. Otherwise the tour audio and ride was pleasant.

Certainly an easy and relaxing way to discover Istanbul, with many of the main sites covered through the extensive drop off points. The audio guide which was both informative and interesting, gave deeper insights into each region Would highly recommend.

It was a good way to see and learn about the main sites. Traffic was very busy, so the route took a long time, and sometimes seemed to stop for quite a while at the different stops.

Worked wonderfully, frequency of 45 min or longer (traffic jam) is a bit long, great driver, pays off in any case to get a first good overview of Istanbul, 1 day is enough, all sights are also easily accessible by streetcar and bus

As a Dane but picking The English version The audio was speaking Too Quickly to understand. At The same time The Music was Too loud.

I liked it overall, a bit more recommendations what to do at the single stops would be helpful though. Otherwise a good way to explore the city!

Very practical and with a great tour. However, avoid the last departure as this is the time of very heavy traffic.

The experience was great but we made the mistake of not booking a day earlier and taking advantage of the full 24 hours of the pass. We booked on our last full day in Istanbul and consequently our experience turned out to basically be a long bus ride. We're glad we did it though because we saw sights we otherwise wouldn't have seen and learned things from the fairly detailed audio guide. After we got off, we retraced parts of the ride that caught our eye and discovered wonderful sights and neighborhoods in the process. The online ordering experience was a breeze and finding the departure point was surprisingly easy. Istanbul is a wonderfully chaotic and complicated city, easy to get lost in. We fully expected to have a hard time finding the bus, but no, an easy short walk from the tram stop and we were there. The onboarding process was easy, efficient and professional. Our only complaint is they didn't retract the roof of the bus, which would have made the sights really pop and, of course, made it easier to take pictures. Also, be warned, Istanbul traffic is like New York rush hour traffic all day every day. All in all we enjoyed the experience and were glad we did it. If you're in Istanbul, take the bus ride, it's worth it.

Most of the visitation took place in traffic with considerable delay on the route such that the audio guide was considerably ahead of what we were actually seeing.

I think the idea of hop on hop off buses is great. Istanbul is actually a very congested inner city, so you are on the road for a long time and it can be exhausting. The tour is interesting and the audio guides are well spoken in all languages and worth listening to. It was great to drive across the Bosphorus and experience the sights. It's also great to get off and continue. The price is justified in my opinion.

My Hip on hop off ticket says optional ticket to Topkapi Palace. But manager did not show up on time and just sent a message thru another person that we can get the those tickets in Topkapi cafe. To make the story short nobody gives us a tickets.

Skip the line mentioned can be misleading. there are two queues and we did not skip the line of the entrance, on the one to but the tickets.
