Full-Day Guided Tour of Pyramids of Giza, Sphinx & Saqqara with Transfers & Lunch

It was a private tour which was so cool. Just my boyfriend and myself. We had a private car and our tour guide Basaat was the BEST! Very friendly, very knowledgeable, very efficient! Also, she was so sweet and took the cutest pics of us. 10 out of 10, highly recommend!!

Ahmed was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable and patient with explaining every thing. He was also helpful by letting us know what to avoid and how to deal with the being approached by hawkers and vendors.

We had a fantastic tour and Ahmed, our guide is an archeologist, made our tour even better, prepared and a shield for the scammers. Rember that of you want to go into the Pyramids you must buy a separate ticket, even with headout option "all inclusive" who cover only the general entrances.

The buffet lunch was plentiful, well prepared and tasty. The waiting staff were attentive and efficient in bringing more drinks etc. Lunch included a bottle of water for each of us, if you wanted anything other than water then this has to be paid for. I had two sweet Turkish coffees and they very good.

The day was great. We saw lots of pyramids and our guide Reda, was super nice, he explained the history of the pyramids very well and repeated the information often enough so that we remembered the essential information. I highly recommend Reda, he was great. His driver, Ahmad, drove very well, he was careful and waited for us at the place of interest and on time every time. Nothing to complain about, the day was great and the best during our stay in Giza.

Everything went very well with our guide Reda and driver Ahmed. They were very professional and the explanations were clear. Reda took the time to explain the historical aspects and he went at our pace. I'd definitely recommend him.

This experience was amazing, the tour is only good as the guide himself. You 100% must ask for Ahmed. Ahmed is a trained Archaeologist and Egyptologist with a vast knowledge of Egyptian history, artifacts, architecture, and culture. He is a walking encyclopedia and is able to answer any question you have. He knew details that only a trained specialist like himself can offer. His range of knowledge stretched from old, middle, new kingdoms, each intermediate period, Greco-Roman period, Arab and Turkish influences, British occupation, and into modern day. Beyond that, he personalized the experience. After seeing Giza plateau and Saqqara pyramid sites, he offered us a choice to either see a third pyramid site, or go to a historical site in Memphis to see an enormous statue of Ramses II. He tailored to our wants and was able to show us more of the things we wanted to see. Finally, he is a great offerer of advice. When we told him where we were going on the remainder of our trip, he gave practical advice for any foreigner who visits Egypt. If you choose this tour, you must ask for Ahmed.

Absolutely fantastic day, Ibrahim was a brilliant guide who made the day, he is very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. Thank you also to the driver we had!!! The best day of the holiday do far.

Very well organized in advance for the ticket office. The tour went off without a hitch thanks to our guide Reda's excellent commentary. Historical details, mastery of French, availability, smile and good humor: perfect! Highly recommended!

The guide was very attentive and provided detailed explanation on the history of the pyramids. We thought the entry tickets were included in the experience but we ended up paying for them. The thing we didn't appreciate so much is that there is a fixed tariff for the camel ride posted near the Great sphinx, but we had a camel ride before going there and the guide did not tell us about it, so we paid more.

The trip was organised very well by Luna Tour. Mr. Gaber was in touch since booking and promptly informed me of guide and driver details. Egyptologists Mr. Mahmoud organised the private tour well giving sufficient time on each site despite fasting during Ramdaan timings and also clicking superb pics!!.
