Combo: Topkapi Palace + Basilica Cistern Skip-the-Line Tickets

The process to go through the gates need to be improved when bringing through that many people. We lost so much time and won't do it this way. The time lost is about as long as waiting for tickets. With the tickets we can move more independently. So no benefit going this way except to save some money. Also we never got another email for the basilica cistern. Not happy.

I took a combo ticket Topkapi and basilica cistern (reservation24107351) But I never received a second email that was supposed to give me the QR CODE of the basilica cistern . I tried the chat, the call and the email and no answer. So I asked for the ticket to be refunded and I'm waiting.

Included in the bigletto was admission for the basilica cisterna (at least apparently) but I found myself paying 80 euros for only admission to the topkapi, which on the official website costs less than 60. As for the skip-the-line those who had the regular ticket got in faster than me.

Nothing. I should have bought my ticket on the spot. I would have known why I was waiting. We were made to wait several times. The audio guides were fake. And contrary to what we thought, the water tank was not included. So the price is high

The quick admission. The handling in the Topkapi Café was a bit confusing and the employees were not very customer-oriented. There were very angry comments from some people around. The tour was ok

My guide accompanied me till the gate of the Harem. Then he took back my audio set and he has gone. I have to see whole Topkapı alone without guide. After I arrived to Topkapı Cafe for continuing my visít with Cistern at 5 p. m. Then the workers told me that the guide has just not worked. He worked till 4 o'clock p. m. So I had to go alone to the Basilica Cistern. Then the worker said me that I shoul have to come with my guide. I explaned her the situation and then she helped me. She called the office and they send me a ticket due to WhatsApp. So it was terribile the situation. I payed lots of money and I had to do this thing without guide. I wrote this thing for Your office but I didn't received answer. I wouled like to get back almost a part of my money. The Topkapı and the Cistern were beautiful

This is only a disguised ticket. No audio guide. The person who guided us was not a guide at all. This applies to both the Topkapi and the Cistern tours. No directions to the Cistern "tour". Pathetic!

We had two tours, the Topkapi Palace and the Basilica Cistern. The Basilica Cistern went well and the guide was professional, but the Topkapi Palace tour was a complete disaster; the guide spoke far too softly and when someone in the group politely asked him to speak up, he put him in his place. This guide ( Martin ) was unpleasant and sexist on top of that. He didn't show us inside the palace and kept us waiting in the palace grounds, repeating information about tickets and virtually nothing about the palace itself. It was shameful, I've never seen such a lack of professionalism, he seemed to know nothing about the place in question. To sum up, the guide at the Basilica Cistern (unfortunately I can't remember his first name) was very good and we had a good experience, but the one at Topkapi Palace was terrible and almost looked like a hidden camera... it's better to laugh than to cry, but it's shameful to offer this type of service.

The tour overall was not good, if we paid money for a tour, we expected a better experience. The tour felt start-stop constantly and was around an hour or so, while the guide gave us some information, it did not feel like something we needed to pay for her was regularly available. He also rushed through the tour and kind of forced us to tip him by making awkward eye contact......would not recommend. Also, they gave us an audio guide device which we never used....why give us in the first place?
