It's a really fascinating museum and definitely worth visiting. The collection is very large so you need to take enough time for this experience. However, some regulations are bizzar, i. e. we had to leave all our things in the locker, I only took some money with me, but when we were at the cafe it turned out that they don't accept cash so I had to walk and pick my handbag with all the cards only to be stopped at the escalator because of the bag. I found it an exaggeration and also very exhausting since we were hungry. You also need to wait in a queue to get a locker, you cannot just choose one that is free. You even need to wait in a queue if you just want to get your card out of your locker or leave the bag that you mistakenly took.

Big fan of Van Gogh, exhibition set out his biography with chronological display of his works in the context of his age and state of mental health. Also interesting to see the works of his contemporary artistic colleagues and how they influenced his own body of work.

Not too crowded, all the paintings and sculptures are clearly visible. Also enough places to rest and view the paintings from a distance.

The museum is nice, well organized, the works are many ,the audio guide a tad confusing if you choose the option "the main works". Otherwise a good service.

the museum is easily accessible by public transportation. public. Purchasing tickets online avoids the formation of a queue outside the museum. Visitors can use free lockers placed immediately after the entrance to store jackets and personal belongings all of which makes it easier to visit the museum. Congratulations!!!

The information relating to each exhibit was too small and hard to access, it was hidden by other visitors hands!
There was no signposting to ensure visitors made the most of all exhibits.
I didn't even see the aeroplane exhibit.
All in all I was very disappointed with the visit.

Everything seeing all Van Goghs paintings but also seeing personal items and in particular the Chinese lacquered box containing wools Van Gogh used for colour matching and analysis to save on wasting paint. We also enjoyed the exhibition on the impressionists and the Netherlands.

The second floor featured Van Gogh's peasant artwork and more personal pieces, particularly the painting of his lover at a pub or café in France. I also think that the Japanese art he created was displayed on that floor. I enjoyed having two locations to stop and relax for coffee and snacks.

To discover Van Gogh's works in real life, beautiful place only downside is that there are too many people and some works are poorly highlighted by the light.

Van Gogh was a very vibrant personality, and his biography is well known to many. The museum left a great impression. On the first floor, there are numerous self-portraits — Van Gogh invented the selfie! On the other floors, you can witness his development as an artist. As you walk through the halls, you can observe how he arrives at the style that makes his paintings so beloved.

Once I arrived at the site, I had to purchase the audio guide separately as the front desk staff priced my ticket without it.
