From Athens: Meteora Monasteries Full-Day Guided Tour with Lunch

The tour to Meteora was an incredible experience. The beauty of the monasteries and the unique rock formations is truly breathtaking. Eva, our local guide, and both drivers were exceptionally kind and professional, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable trip. Their attention to detail and genuine care made the day even more memorable. This is a perfect choice for anyone looking to explore a stunning historic destination and take lots of beautiful pictures!

I really enjoyed the tour to the Meteora monasteries! The tour guide Maria did a very good job: she provided a lot of information about the Meteora monasteries and the area in a very entertaining way. The tour was very well organized and we were able to visit three monasteries from the inside, including a very interesting museum in one of the monasteries. The driver Crhistos was a very good driver. I can highly recommend this tour.

IT WAS GREAT!!!! Our guide really jnow his way around te place!! Morover he has even dined with the monks!! Super frendly and knowledgeable guy, wuld recommend 100% !!

i like the guide Eva who explain everything very nicely..and helped us to take best photographs..also the driver Kostos from Athens to Meteora and the other guy ( i dont renember his name from Meteora to Athens were very nice and took very good cara of us.. the lunch also was very good.i recommand this tour to everyone..

The excursion to Metora really exceeded our expectations. Both the guides and the drivers know what they are doing, very friendly and professional. The food at the Tavern was homemade, good and plentiful. Entrance to 2 of the monasteries is not included in the price, we paid 3€ in each but it is worth it. 100% recommendable

We arrived 4 minutes late to the stop because we had an issue with the metro. We missed the bus, and although it was stated everywhere that we wouldn’t be able to recover it, we also couldn’t get in touch with anyone from technical support about our problem. They charged us an additional €50 per person to go the next day, and I felt there was a lack of attention that we did receive in other tours; it seemed like they only cared about the money. As for the tour itself, the driver was quite rude, and we even left before the scheduled time, which explains what happened the previous day. Once there, we had a guide who barely spoke. He mostly made jokes throughout the trip and only told us the bare minimum, in my opinion. He would sit down often, and although he was friendly and asked if we were satisfied and if we had any questions, he didn’t really provide more information, so we didn’t know what to ask. In my opinion, he left a lot to be desired.

Our tour guide, Maria, was fantastic whom told us great history about the 6 monasteries including the geology of the area. We visited 3 monasteries of which Varlem was the best. She was very passionate and funny. I would highly recommend this tour and having Maria as a guide.

The drive was long and the day exhausting but the experience was surreal. A blessing to have been able to do this but once was enough for me.

Our guide Maria was very attentive and knowledgeable, she is very good at her job! The Monasteries we're awesome. The map you sent for the pickup point was not accurate. It showed it in front of the station where the motor scooters were parked not across the street! But no problem because we figured it out!

That you provide this service! Without the tour we wouldnt be able to see and to know that much. Thank you! Maria was awesome!

Loved how easy and seamless the whole experience was. The driver drove very smoothly and the guide was just wonderful, explaining everything nicely and giving ample time for exploration. We loved it!

It's an unforgettable and truly unique experience! Eva, our guide, is absolutely adorable and very smiling! She really loves her city, and she passed on that love to us throughout the day! I was able to discover unique places forged by nature, and Greek specialties to die for! I recommend this tour 1,000%!

Maria our tour guide was amazing did three different tours but she was the most knowledgeable and also the one that actually seemed to do research outside of just the normal tour guide stuff.

I thought the guide at times was a bit grumpy. When handing out audio devices seemed to think one between three was suitable and also won't give one per person if they each had a different first language.

Thoroughly enjoyed the trip, everything was great about this trip, was very content with our tour via Headouts and the team assisted our queries very promoted too, thank you guys. Our Canadian speaking guide was very informative and funny, highly recommended!

An experience out of the ordinary with an extraordinary landscape and history, the guide was great very involved and showed us the best places to take pictures etc.. I highly recommend this experience which is worth the long trip from Athens.

Our guide, Nicolás, was very nice and friendly, and he told you the historical and cultural facts in a very pleasant way. A 10 for the excursion, although those of you with vertigo should be careful.

Paula was amazing...and sales girl so sweet. The water sport is too long. Can be less by 1/2 hour. Tour is good with 5 hours of time. The day, people, time was pleasant. Must inform if food is pork for those that don't eat pork. Inform to bring sneakers is important to climb rocks in Delos. Inform another fee for y Delos ahead of time. I don't mind paying but people were commenting because we weren't informed ahead. Thank you for a nice experience❣️🙏🏽
