Istanbul Mosques: Guided Tour of Hagia Sophia & Blue Mosque with Entry Tickets

Our guide, Mehmet, was exceptional—both insightful and incredibly knowledgeable. His deep understanding of the history, culture, and local stories made the entire experience unforgettable. What stood out even more was his excellent English, which made the tour engaging and easy to follow. We noticed other tour groups struggling due to language barriers, but Mehmet’s clear communication and thoughtful explanations ensured that we didn’t miss a single detail. His professionalism and passion for sharing his knowledge truly set him apart and made our tour one to remember.

The guide was excellent, knowledgeable, and service-minded. The tour was well orginized, and a great experience. But 4 hours is long enough. Make sure to bring a bottle of water and good walking shoes.

Our guide, Busi, was great!!! She told us a lot of interesting facts and knows much about history!! She too gave us important information about habits and customes. So our visit was a full success!!

Guide was easy to find and delivered what was advertised - an informative tour of both the Blue Mosque and the Hagia Sofia. Got to go inside and learn a little of the history and culture of the mosques. Guide was a little hard to hear at times and wait time at Hagia Sofia security line was long and hot. But still a very worthwhile tour!

Having a guide is good as you get so much more information that you would if you just went on your own. Able to ask questions. Skip the Line was very quick.

We had an excellent tour guide and the sites we visited were pretty incredible, as expected. However, we were very disappointed to find out we did not have tickets to Hagia Sophia included in our original tour package. I reviewed the information on the web site where I found the tour, and the two emails resulting from the booking and saw no mention that the tickets to tour the second floor were not included. We were not impressed that we had to find an ATM to get cash so that our tour guide could purchase these tickets for us. We were not the only ones in the group that experienced this.

In fact, there was no prior information about going with socks to visit the blue mosque, the smell of foot odor was unbearable, it was very hot, my husband became ill and we had no help from anyone, except for an Indian doctor from another tour who came to help him.

Our tour guy was very knowledgeable about history of sites we were visting at the same time was very friendly and professional with sense of humor. I highly recommended our tour guide!

The meet up location was easy to find. The guide spoke excellent English and was informative and personable. Skip the line made the experience so much better.

Good guidance with an entertaining guide. When booking it was not clear how the day would go, in terms of planning. Not so bad in itself, but would be a little more practical.

It was good tour. Guide was a very good man. Don't remember his name. He was thin, short, had moustache. He had a little dark skin and short hair.

I booked a tour for both the blue mosque and Hagia Sophia, but was only given a guided tour for the blue mosque. Because of the confusion I was able to eventually get tickets into the Hagia Sophia, but was not given a guided tour, which was a disappointment.

Our guide was great! Very knowledgeable and friendly. We really appreciated his recommendations. Loved the cistern and the Blue Mosque.

I had an amazing experience... i loved how experienced was the guide... he made you to get into a the history of the places.. explaining the before and now of the places and curiosities. I highly recommend it!

Little radios that would allow us to listen to it even when it was moving away from one shift to another would have been greatly appreciated

Great guide. Ardan was very good and knowledgeable. Time well spent and minimum waiting time in queues. They should provide headphones though. Sometimes tough to list to due to the crowds..
