Aerobus Tickets: Barcelona Airport to/from Plaça Catalunya

It's super easy to buy, and the app gives us access to our tickets even without a wifi network. I highly recommend this app. It makes life easier when traveling.

It couldn't be better. Simply perfect for getting from the airport to the city. Fast, clean, friendly and plenty of space on the bus.

Due to gridlock in Barcelona on 23/04/2025 the bus was unable to get to the pickup point at Plaça de Catalunya so a compay rep came along and directed us to an alternate location about 10 minutes away. A simple thing to do but they did it and in doing so looked after their customers.

Booking the ticket in advance was very useful, as it meant getting on much quicker. Once the bus left the airport it was a quick ride to the city centre and far cheaper than a taxi or Uber (they were around 45 euros). The little map on the ticket was not helpful and there are no signs in the airport, so if you fly in with Ryanair, leave terminal 2, turn right and walk to the far end underneath a large "B". Enlarge the QR code as its tiny on the ticket and the driver will need it enlarged.

The transfer service from the airport to placa catalunya is fast and on time. If I may point out one flaw, the date of purchase is listed on the tickets as the validity date, when in fact the document is valid for 90 days. This creates some confusion when making the return leg.

Frequent buses. Convenient and fast travel x to city center. Monitors pointing out various stops. Luggage spaces. At the airport you can get tickets before boarding because there is a person who checks and also issues tickets for those who don't have them.

What we liked the most was the convenient location of the bus stops, planty of space for the luggage, good bus frequency.

The stops are easy to find, good price, reliable (runs every few minutes in high season) and quick to book online.

Using the site to book was easy and inn English as needed. No que for bus and driver was able to scan tickets from my devise with ease. Bus got busy as we travelled in to Barcelona and people struggled for seats and luggage space. Overall a great experience using this service

I had ordered round trip Aerobus. I had the tickets in my Headout app. From the airport to the city went well, return trip the ticket could not be found in my app, so I had to buy a ticket on the spot because I only found out then and I did not want to miss my flight. Don't have mail on my phone.

The journey went smoothly and we arrived at the airport on time. The good connections and easy online booking were particularly practical. Absolutely recommendable!

It was a smooth journey from the airport to Placa Catalunya. I like how there is a screen to let the tourist know which bus stop was it. The ticketing and online system were easy to navigate as well. It would be awesome if there was a system for that as well at Placa Catalunya (I had also took the bus back to the airport on another day). It was in the afternoon and there were more passengers and tourists. Some were not sure of what to do and where to queue (it seemed there were two groups of passengers as one of the ticketing officer were talking to one of the group, the rest of the officers were under a tent). It was very confusing.

The bus station was well marked and easy to find via Google. The bus timetable was great and the staff were friendly and helpful. It was stress-free.

The bus is easy to locate is just by the bay when you exit at the arrival, and each bus stop was flashed at the tv screen so you will know where station you are. ❤️👏🏾

I had booked the tickets online since we were a group of 24 people and had little time !!! As soon as we left the airport there was already a bus to go downtown it was full but after 5 minutes another one arrived !!! Punctual and efficient service ... great directions even when we arrived downtown !!!

Its a great way to get to and from the airport into the city centre. Easy to find at the airport also. Only takes about 20 minutes. Will definitely recommend 👌
