With such a large area, the audio guide should be better structured. You always had to search for the numbers, sometimes there were no numbers to be found. Browsing and searching for additional information is very tedious. Route suggestions within the site would be useful. Taking photos on the side is difficult as you always have to hold the audio guide in your hand. Two of us paid 78 euros, 44 euros is obviously the price without the audioguide... For an additional 17 euros I expect much better technology. A headset would be absolutely essential, and it would also be much easier to use if you could simply scan a qr code at the buildings for the correct announcement. I also missed an introductory explanation when entering the site

The place i was told to pick up entry tickets did not have them they just had audio guide which i had already picked up as that venue had been changed prior to going. I had to join entry queue to gain entry and only after showing all emails. Once in the venue it took a little while to match up audio guide to which section we were in, having the guide was helpful as it gave lots of information on the history . It was not to busy which helped with moving around the different areas.

The audioguide was not user friendly. I would never recommend it to anyone visiting Pompeji for the first time. There should be signs with numbers on the ruins corresponding to the right audioguide information. Without this the guide is totally useless and no value for money

Great place to visit and explore, recommend visit Naples archeological museum prior to visit to Pompeii. Please note that the tickets are available at the gate of Porta Marina.

The experience was exciting but the audio guide downloaded in English automatically so on site I had to re-download in Italian language with difficulty. Secondly, when you enter you are in sector 7 and the audio guide starts from sector 1 which makes no sense it should follow a pre-set itinerary based on the entrance

Y me pregunto, ¿PARA QUE SIRVE COMPRAR LA ENTRADA ANTICIPADA SI IGUALMENTE TIENES QUE HACER LA COLA GENERAL? pues para nada!

We thought we had booked tickets but we still needed to queue to exchange what we had booked for actual tickets. So we need not have bothered going thro Headout. Pompeii Scavi itself was amazing

Amazing place to visit! 4 hours are clearly not enough. Going with a tour guide may enrich the experience, though we preferred to take our time to explore at our place and it worked wonders! We suggest to bring a packed meal as it can be expensive to eat inside the archaelogical park, though the food seems to be great.

Amazing and well preserved place. Only issue is maps do not match with streets, as maps shows names while streets make reference to position. Takes a bit of time to make sense but over all is an amazing places that 100% must be visited. Staff are extremely helpful and full of knowledge

incredible. mind blowing as expected. i would highly recommend going for more than one day as me and my partner (both reasonably fit) were exhuasted and didn't even get round the whole site from 10-16:00, with a 30 min break only. if you really appreciate what you're looking at, it's impossible to see everything in one day, but if you only have 1 day - still go!!!!!!! we'll be going back in the future. We'll also be eating our picnic at the view point instead of the tables in the (good) cafe - we didn't realise it was right next to us!

Weather was not good but we had an amazing experience at the site. We saw many people walking and exploring. I'd love to go back someday. It was rainning and foggy.

Super visite.

It was just amazing to see how Pompeii had developped into a culture, far far ahead of the nordic part of Europe, where I come from. 2.000 years ago they had streets, infrastructure, schools for physical and mental development, theatres, complex watersystem for the city, art and much more. 2.000 years ago we were in a completly other level here in scandinavia. It was like a frozen image of a highly developped culture - just amazing to see. I'm returning ...
