Semperoper Tickets & Guided Tour

It was wonderful to see the opera when it wasn't full. It was a special privilege to see the stage open. We also learned many interesting facts about the architecture. Photos only with photo pass!

To say it in advance: The tour was great. However, it did not take place on Monday as booked, but today (Tuesday, June 12) at 15:15. At the Semperoper yesterday they were surprised that we had a booking for Monday at 15:45, when the last tour took place at 15:15 due to the evening event. It is a mystery to me how something like this can happen, because the calendar of events has surely been known for months and it would only be logical to adapt your booking mask to this calendar of events. I would have expected you to inform me about this. Instead, we waited and I then tried to clarify the matter myself. In the end, a very nice member of staff took care of our problem and made it possible for us to take part in a guided tour today. The guide gave a very competent, friendly and interactive introduction to architecture, painting, history, theater, etc. in a clear and understandable way.

I personally couldn't take part in the guided tour of the Semperoper, but the others in the family were thrilled. Very nice guide through the Semperoper. It was definitely fun 😁.

It was an all-round successful day. The Semperoper was great. The night watchman was also great. We learned a lot of interesting things. We will definitely come back to Dresden again.

The guide was uniquely great! Had booked 1.1. at 12 o'clock, her name was Mrs. Salz I think🤷In any case, the woman has in-depth specialist knowledge and conveyed it so entertainingly and eloquently that it was a pleasure to listen to her. I will always have fond memories of this Semperoper tour. Top ! 12 out of 10 points👍

The detailed and informative explanations about the history of the Semperoper and the clever construction. It was annoying that several guided tours took place at the same time and the explanations of the other tours could be heard...

Ticket reservation worked well, the guided tour through the Semperoper was great, the highlight was Mr. Nowak, who conducted the tour, his dry humor was the icing on the cake.

We were told to be there 15 minutes before the tour started, but were still only let in at the time the tour started. I find that unfavorable. In addition, the tours were so tightly timed that the background noise was so high that we could only understand very little of the guide. But what we did understand was very interesting.
