Amazing atmosphere and fantastic cast!

if you choose a yard seat u will be standing, the show was 1 hour though so you won t freeze even if it s cold. great actors, when we went there was a sub for the mother so u may not see the same actors at your show. overall amazing experience and location. enjoyable even if you re older

Actors were awesome and hilarious

Vibrant, funny, colourful, great songs and acting. Deeply political while still very much enjoyable for kids.

Apart from the unfriendly ushers and being drenched to the bone? Well, for a start, the cast looked like they had all been dragged out of bed in haste. The props and set were poor and that's being kind. To call it a play or theatre production makes a mockery of actual plays and theatre productions. It was essentially a glorified story time with the narrator telling 90% of the story. A waste of money which left a hole in my pockets and a bitter taste in my mouth when I realised we had fallen into a well disguised tourist trap.

The play was definitely not as advertised 'a jolly romp for the family' the songs were not for kids.and the allegory with war torn Ukraine and refugees fighting for their lives was seriously overworked. The most disappointing was the ridiculous staging... it was.for the globe theatre... therefore there were people all around the stage... the staging was done as if it was a forward facing stage with all the audience in front . We were on the left hand aide of the stage.and there were tents placed on the stage from about 10 minutes into the play until the end so we.could not see anything or hear the words. If here hadn't been the subtitles we would not have understood.anything There were seats available on the sides which admittedly we hadn't paid for but the security volunteers would not let the children go and sit.so they could at least see the stage .because of those stupid tents. I have never been so fed up or disappointed at the theatre. The poor principal actors were doing their best but frankly you should not be selling it as a play for the family. And the director should be ashamed to put on a play in such an amazing venue that half the audience couldn't even see.

My issue was that the actual Performance was very low quality. Acting was bad, singing even worse, we couldn't hear the actors at all (as the globe doesn't use mics/speakers), the props and the set were amateurish and I found the whole experience underwhelming and way overpriced (we had front row seats, which were the most expensive seats). I would never recommend this show.
